Stunning movie. Too bad there were no imax shots included

Recently watched this via steaming, and wanted to see it in UHD. Loved it!

Slow but good, the updated story adds to the strory can not wait for the 2nd half.

There have been several adaptations of F.H Dune however...This movie surpassed my expectations the level of world building was impressive... amazing cast... ridiculous buget....the build up was slow burning..but good...can't wait to see the second pt. now that we know somewhat of where it's going! Steelbook was not the best artwork in my opinion but I still wanted to own it !

My review is not for the movie, that I loved, or the quality of the disc itself. Rather it is for Best Buy's customer service. I purchased Dune online during the Black Friday sale and it arrived this afternoon, November 29. Unfortunately the case was cracked. I read the instructions and took it to the store so they could order a replacement. The associate went to find a supervisor who told me that they could not order it from the store and wrote the phone number on my receipt. I drove home and called the number. After a half hour on the phone and after having asked for a replacement the representative offered me the options of driving to another store miles away for an exchange or a $5.00 credit for the damaged case. I took the credit, it's better than nothing. Afterward, I looked up Dune at Best Buy's web site and it was still available although the price had reverted to it's normal $18.99 rather than the $9.99 I paid. In the end, I taped the pieces together. I know that Buy Buy is exiting the physical media business, but this is unacceptable.

The way they added sound to this is over the top.. the visuals are stimulating also

Great movie, especially in 4k. The only reason I took off 1 star was the lack of IMAX content in this version. Everything was in a 2.39:1 screen ratio.

I'm glad I never saw the first Dune because this movie really pulled me in! Steelbook could have been more imaginative, but still not bad to own.
