Really wanted to like this game as I loved playing the two that preceeded it. However, this game, imho, just falls short. It can be fun for a brief moment with friends but my experience has been riddled with bugs, glitches, and just flat out lackluster gaming attributes; sound, music, controls, outdated graphics (look at how the falg flies in camp, it looks like it was pulled from the og xbox and psone era), horrible voice acting, and just overall lack of polish. Vermintide did a better job with a lot less. This plays like a hybrid of guantlet and vermintide. You select a map, go to said teleport (same for any map you choose), fight a mostly linear path (it has branches but mostly for items), kill, loot then defeat boss. Wash, rinse repeat. You can only equip in camp. The loot system appears to be managable but i didnt play long enough to get into too much depth bc i just lost interest even playing with freinds. Hoping Tribes of Midgard will be an overall better co op expereince. Rent this one if you can first would be my suggestion.

This game is great, and at 39.99 a bargain to boot. The combat system is fun and intuitive. It is so much better than Outriders and cheaper too. You can unlock more skills after each dungeon, and equip new loot. Anyone who says otherwise is afraid of a little grind. No instant gratification here - you have to work to build your character, and upgrade gear.

I dont normally leave alot of reviews but this is the worst game by far that i have played in the last few years. Its extremely buggy, Very minimum customization. No skill tree so to speak and you will unlock all the skills eventually. Story is a bit lacking although its not really intended to be focused on that. As far as the stages go and with me being a IT multimedia major. I can tell that these stages are basically reskinned with minor changes and alterations in the stages and 21 maps available hence it being a $40 game. Which is ok. however in my opinion its not even worth the $40. If your looking for something similar. I'd even recommend Warhammer over this or waiting for the next Dungeons and Dragon game or even waiting for black friday when it goes on sell for even less. Maybe the bugs will be worked out by then. At this point the game is boring and bland. Rented in on Redbox before i opened mine thank God. I'll be returning this game.

This game was a drag to get through as the Combat feels boring and moves lack any kind of impact. This game is meant to played with other people as the game has some balancing difficulty issues. If you want it you should totally get it.

Seems like a good premise. I really liked Vermintide and this reminds me of that game, but the game isn’t finished. Choppy graphics, sluggish controls, and no cross play (as of release, you cannot play PS4 and PS5 together). Not worth it until they release some major updates.

Although this isn’t the best game I have played it offers a good amount of challenges and action so yo can definitely get involved in the gameplay. I know it didn’t get that good of a write up but I liked it.

This game is trash! For a D&D game, the expectation of balance between story and gameplay has to be there. I basically jumped on this being a D&D and RPG fan.. I should have waited for reviews. Game developers need to get back to putting out a good product instead of relying on patches, fixes, and DLCs.

I thought this was the newest version of the Baldur's Gate series (the one from 2021). It isn't. That is on me. Was fun for a while but it got to be pretty redundant and boring after about 10 hours of play time.

Fun game, but not crossplay compatible with PS4 users. Hit the game to play with my brother and couldn't. Also very VERY glitchy. They didn't do enough test play.

The game is playable. Sorta. Rife with so many bugs that Best Buy should bundle this with a can of RAID. The story is ok, the graphics are alright, but the hype around this game made it seem like it was going to be an epic game changer. Instead, its basically like soggy cereal, a disappointment. Don't waste the money.
