A favorite movie of mine from years ago. I decided to hunt it down and pick up a copy. My teenage sons were skeptical at first, but within the first 30 minutes were intrigued and watched the whole thing. Turned out to be one of their favorite watches for an 'old' movie. It tells a good story, and packs in a little life lesson. Good all around clean family fun.

Dutch is Buddy Comedy Gold. The 80's brought us the era of Buddy Comedies and Dutch is a great part of it. Ed O'Neil plays the fall guy like no other with his awesome ability for physical comedy. His journey to retrieve his love's son and win him over opens the door for prat falls, car chases, fire works and much much more.

John Hughes was a great director! If you want some good laughs, this movie will definitely lift anyone's spirits. Just fun & entertaining of what a guy endures for winning the heart of a special Lady in winning the heart of her rebellious Son!

This one is a popcorn favorite of mine. It has a message, some hilarious physical laughs and some off the top shenanigans. Ed O'Neil is totally believable as a blue collar working type guy and I just makes you feel good at the end even as predictable as the ending may be. A very enjoyable, entertaining movie that everyone in the family can watch. Well above the age of 10 anyway:-)

I remember growing up watching this movie and I finally bought it. It's one movie that I will never get sick of. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves 80-90s comedies.

Dutch may come across as kind of goofy, but he teaches the young man some very meaningful matters about life!

An old movie that I loved watching when I was younger. The fireworks scene is awesome.

I LOVE this movie!! Yeah it gets bashed a lot but I thought it was great, not to mention i am a huge Ed O' Neil fan. If you like Ed, I think you would love this movie as well. The PQ on the Blu-Ray is not the best, but for the price you can;t complain and it's still better the DVD PQ. Overall I recommend owning this movie. I had a great time revisiting it. It's not oscar worthy or anything but I do think it is a great little comedy worth owning if your a fan of Al Bundy himself!
