Sturdy enough to set the small Dynex TV set on top and doesn't have any potential for overheating. Quick and simple remote features.

Perfect for screen porch tv. Works perfect for kids movies or parents movies.

Was good for what I needed with it but only draw back was I needed other cables to connect to the tv.

I purchased an Insignia flat-screen TV at Best Buy, and this Insignia DVD player seemed like a logical extension. The fit was easy. Everything works well. I'd recommend the combination to others.

This player intermittently starts running so loud that I cant hear the movie I am playing. It freezes up and stops working completely sometimes when I have to pause it. I have to stop the machine, take out the disc, close the tray, turn off the machine, wait a couple of minutes, then turn the unit back on, put the disc back in and start the movie over from the beginning again to get it to work.

if your looking for a very cheap and works very well with any disc....this is for you!

We returned it bc it wasn't compatible with our TV , the screen was only in black in white.

The built in DVD player in our Insignia TV went out, so bought this as a replacement. Does the job just as well as the old one, so no complaints! No frills, not a lot of output options, but does the job.

Our company needed a cheap dvd player to loop ads on a tv. This one is doing well for its price.

I use this primarily for playing CDs so I can't comment on the quality of dvd playback but it serves my purpose well.

The DVD player was for playing my workout video in my garage. It was easy to hook up and the first time I used it everything worked great. The next day the remote no longer work so I could not select a specific workout to do, so the only way to select the workout was to start from the beginning and fast forward to the one I was doing. Second day the fast forward on the DVD player no longer works. I bought this one because I wanted a inexpensive player but I guess the saying you get what you pay for holds true. Have gone else where and bought a Sony DVD player that works great. No more Insignia products for me.

It runs good it's just sometimes you can hear the mechanisms running in the machine so it's kind of loud.

Was looking for a low cost DVD player for the kid's bedroom. For $20, you can't go wrong.

The DVD player was easy to hook up to the tv and existing systems we We're using. Once it was connected my kids were able to use it right away. All the movies they want to watch work great.

All I wanted was a basic DVD Player and I got less. More than a few times I've had to coax the tray to open.

I brought this DVD Player to take with me on My Visit to Jamaica...we watched some movies and played music...it worked Great!!!

I purchased this for my salon waiting areas tv and I have not had any play or skip issues. I can not believe how low Quality DVD players have gotten! It was a great deal

Basic DVD player and nothing else. Comes in handy as a spare. The only drawback is the remote back is difficult to take off.
