Well I played the demo first and I was a little ify at first but when I bought the game......what a difference. You can baiscally you have a arsenal of gundams at your disposal. Each gundam has its own unique ability and you can upgrade them and add parts to increase the gundams power. It was well worth the money.

The game play is pretty simple and is picked up easily but still leaves a lot of room for setting up your own combos and rotations to match your play style. Co-op is a nice feature if you can get used to the vertical split screens.
All in all if only this game had some sort of online play or the other 4 gundams from gundam wing (sorry my favorite gundam series =P) I would give this a 5 star, but an awesome game none the less.

To start off, i went and downloaded the trial on xbox live. the game itself is okay....but not nearly as what i expected it to be. the graphics are mediocre, the gameplay gets boring really quick, and most of the gundams youd hope to have in the game aren't even there. most of the gundams on there arent even the good ones. wing zero is great in taking all the fields once he is completely powered up, but other than that, the choices are just really limited. not to mention all the combos on all the gundams involve just mashing the x and y buttons at different sequences. and its the same on all the other gundams. all in all...rent it. dont buy it.

Alright, so for people that were looking for some kind of unneccessarily complicated type advancement system (something like starcraft) this game really isn't for you. It's very straight-forward, like the vast majority of gundam games are, and there's basically a lot of wonton destruction, like a lot of Gundam series are.
I'm not sure how this will play up to fans of Dynasty Warriors, I only picked up the title because it was Gundam.
It doesn't relate well to any previous gundam games. There's no locking on, and you can pretty much forget ranged attacks outside of the buster rifle's all-range destruction. The way walking works with the camera makes it pretty difficult to aim a rifle manually, though it's possible...
It's pretty true to how the meta-series plays out, You've got the named pilots carving through the nobodies (Scenes from Wing with Epyon come to mind) and then there's the near-epic duel at the end.
An unfortunate lack, I.M.O, is the overt lack of any mobile suits from SEED. Granted, there are enough mingling timelines as it is to give you a headache (though I think all of the little nobodies are from the original timeline, only the named suits are from outside the original gundam universe) And any battle with the Freedom would be intensly one-sided...
That's something that might irk gundam fans, as it most likely always has: The named suits are roughly equal in strength in the game, whereas in "reality" there isn't much of a comparison between the RX-72 and Wing Zero.
Yeah, I'm a nerd, but that just makes the review more in-depth, right?
