Hard to find at release but is a blast from the past!!

From last experience with 7 & 8 with things of note, for gameplay: a few new attack methods + 2 weapons per character which actually didn't add much due to the games becoming alot easier, and for story: The Jin Dynasty, Hypothetical + Cinematic storytelling, which helped add some life to the officers + expanding into later history, but the series never exactly felt like it evolved too much after the PS2 era in a big way. But in Origins with the new explorable map + side quests, battles feeling way more cinematic with some bit of challenge being brought back, and a new main protagonist over the existing officers from the Han/Three Kingdoms era + more grounded characters over the past cheesiness in performances, the series finally feels like it is doing something a bit different and feels like a proper evolution.

As a fan of the Dynast Warriors series this game lives up to the others. The game is more focused on the events leading up to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms stories and is story driven around your character. You only really get to play as one character but do have the opportunity to switch to a companion for a short period of time. The graphics are much better (obviously) and with the PS5s power, you can now see almost 1k characters on the map at any moment. I recommend this to any fan of the "Warriors" series

The game itself overall was one of the best in the series. Definitely would recommend for dynasty warriors fans!

I haven’t played an official Dynasty Warriors game since the PS2 era. Glad to see that the classic play style has not changed much since then.

It's also surprisingly a very good character action game. Ever wanted to feel like a god of war who can take on thousands of enemies? Well, look no further. Just buy this game and prepare to have a good time.

Been playing this franchise since Dynasty Warriors 2 and it had been getting pretty stale. But with the overhauled combat system and revamped characters, I cannot recommend this game enough!

Dynasty warriors origins……. Is good but not great weapons are connected to power progression no create a warrior when it clearly could’ve been.

Hands down the best game in the Dynasty Warriors series. It's great to see this franchise come back with a bang.

Never disappointed about this games since in came out on PS2

Ok entry in DW series but fells a little short. Awesome graphics and great slasher. Wish there were more battle levels to the story with less emphasis on Zilujan's story. Felt a little forced.
