Acoustabar was really simple to set up; I hardly read the manual. Its size and shape allows it to fit in just about anywhere. I have it in my living room and everything sounds so smooth coming out of it. It's easy to operate and it comes with a remote that allows me to adjust volume without having to do much. The bass on this is as powerful as advertised. You get a lot of bang for your buck and it even charges my ipod(itouch and nano) whenever it's connected.

I returned unit due to interference and static. Directions say to install 9 feet from other devices. It comes with 6 foot cord, but I did not want it 9 feet from TV anyway.

For the money I spent and not having unrealistic expectations, it has exceeded expectations. The surround sound mode has been great for watching movies. If you have a small area this is perfect for your needs. After fine tuning the sound we became more and more pleased with the product.

Bought this unit to replace a standard sound system to hopefully reduce the speaker wire clutter. As soon as I attached any device I began hearing lots of white noise. I tried different devices and different audio cables with the same result. I ended up returning this unit and getting a different model all together. New model worked great so I know it wasn't my gear.
