I tried several name brand shelf speakers on display at Best Buy. I was either satisfy with the sound nor the price. Dynex, I have never heard of the brand. I decided to give it a try since it is only a fraction of the price of a name brand. I am glad that I did. These speakers are easy to set up and the control are simple to use. At high volume, these speakers can fill the room with a rich sound with no distortion. You don't need to pay brand name prices to get a good product.

I rate this as a great system because of the sound quality... The sub-woofer is great as well...

Sound and quality is fairly good. Lots of bass. Bought for a teen who has not complained once about it. He seems very satisfied. A little bigger than I was hoping, especially since it has a subwoofer as well as 2 speakers, but to a teenager, the bigger the better.

This stereo is a great addition to my living room. The Bluetooth feature is amazing because I can get home and connect my phone and allow my playlists to take over

This shelf system is not mini. You'll need plenty of space for it. It also has some nice weight to it. The sound is excellent and it has a choice of preset equalizer settings. The subwoofer really does give it a lot of low-end, but the regular pair of speakers also provide good range. And the equalizer allows you to choose different mixes. I had no problem setting it up, even before skimming the manual, which I did afterward. And I am not very experienced with electronics. I tried the FM radio first and had no problems. Then I tried four different CDs in the player at different equalizer settings. I was quite impressed with the amount of control I had over the sound, short of a regular equalizer.

The good about this is that it delivers clear, true, and loud sound. It really does sound great. The only issue is that somehow the wrong FM antenna was shipped with it. It has the wrong connection type. I'm not sure how that happened but I did want to make note of it.

ALTHOUGH IT WAS A GIFT THAT I GAVE MY RELATIVE TOLD ME THAT THE SOUND WAS EXCELLENT AND THAT THE STEREO IS VERY NICE.

sounds good just needed to extend speaker wire....

Had to replace unit because of the receiver was defective. Replaced without a hassle. Like the radio sound.

I love item, very nice. The system sounds nice, and it doesn't take up much space.

Before buying this stereo, I looked and could not find any reviews. I took a chance and purchased it on sale, and I am glad I did. Awesome stereo. Awesome sound. LOVE the Bluetooth.

For starters, let me tell you what the description doesn't tell you...there is a USB input on the front (can be seen on pics) but wouldn't charge my iPod :-/ . There are 4 seperate parts, 3 speakers and the "head unit". The speaker wires are only about 3 feet long, but could be easily lengthened. For $100, it was exactly what I needed...simple, not a lot of frills, and sounds pretty good considering the speakers are only 2-way's.
