The black ends of each side of the cable do not look like the out of packaging picture. They’re just plain rectangles; there’s no pull out thumb ridge or a super thick black piece stability where the cable connects to the black rectangle. Nothing on the packaging or cable says 4K. I bought this same cable in July and the packaging was different.

The Dynex™ - 3.9' 4K Ultra HD HDMI Cable is obviously the best way to convey the the signal from my Blu_ray player to my television. The cable provides the clearest image to my television from the Blu-ray player of any of the alternatives available today.

I purchased a 4K tv and used some cheap HDMI cables to hook everything up. Things worked ok for a few weeks, then I started having issues with dropped signals and artifacts in the picture. My first thought was that the TV I purchased was a bad one, so I went on-line to see if other owners had similar issues - they weren’t. But I did see several people saying that you need a good quality cable for 4K. I didn’t believe it (I have always been one of those “it’s just a wire” people). After becoming more and more frustrated with my TV, I was just about ready to take it back. The only thing stopping was my laziness in taking the TV down and repacking it. I decided that I would try a better cable first. I came across these cables. They had great reviews and were not stupidly expensive so I ordered them. When they arrived, I was immediately impressed by how well the cables were packaged - it was like they truly cared about their product. After plugging everything in, I have to admit that I didn’t notice any major changes in picture quality, but the artifacts were gone and my signal was no longer dropping. I did also notice that everything seems to be faster when I switch inputs.

In this age of technology, we have now officially switched over every TV in the house to a flat screen, HD TV. Our last prehistoric monster went out last year after many years of loyal service. I've bought several of these HDMI cables for connecting our FiOs boxes to the TV and our Netflix Rokus as well. It's so nice not to have to rely on those Red, Yellow, White AV cables anymore. The HDMI plugs into one port on each device and in no time flat you'll be enjoying clear, crisp picture with no muss, no fuss! It's been several months and we've had no issues with these cables and they're affordable, which is also a plus. The length is perfect for connecting most devices to the TV within a 4ft area.

I just bought a new TV for my garage and got a 1080p smart TV for the garage and used an older hdmi cable when I first hooked it up. TV picture was good and then my new hdmi cable came in, so I changed the cable out with this new 4k hd hdmi cable and the picture got even better. There is truth in that if you really do want better clarity, go ahead and get a newer cable that is built to the specs for the newer signals and these newer devices that receive these signals. Your eyes will thank you. This cable was not much more than a standard hdmi cable, but well worth the price difference.

If you want to connect a device to your HD TV, this Dynex HDMI Cable does the job at a fraction of the cost of overpriced "premium" HDMI cables. You may not or may care to know that I have a BS in electrical engineering and currently work with advanced digital communication systems for transmitting data between devices. Thus, I could go into technical details, but I won't. All I'll say is that there is no difference between cables based on price and based on the evidence I have seen. For example, based on compliance with HDMI standards, there should be no discernible difference between cables. Blind studies have supported this finding. Pretty much, a cable will work or it won't. Make sure you get a cable rated for your desired speed in that you should have a higher speed rated cable for more intensive data rates, such as for 3D video. All cables will support Blu-Ray-type speeds. The main possible difference between premium and normal HDMI cables may be based on structural quality, which would come into play if you are wiggling the cable a lot, such as when mucking around behind your TV a lot. However, even the most expensive cables would fail with enough bending and twisting. At one point, I was encouraged to get a more expensive cable at a high end A/V shop, which I did because I wanted to get a component up and running and the shop only had the expensive cables. Once I got a less expensive cable, I did not notice any difference and returned the overpriced cable. People may debate the difference between cables based on price. However, I am in the camp that either a HDMI cable will work or it won't and there should be no discernible difference. This is my opinion and you are welcome to it for free. No need for 4K, 3D, VR or gaming. This cable is similar to those included with most computer monitors. I didn’t want to spend more in an HDMI cable, than I spent in the player. I simply took from the shelf the shortest, most inexpensive HDMI cable I could find and it works great for me. Good quality cable and long enough to fit the DVD player on the TV stand, under the TV.

This is the perfect cable. It was readily available and the sales rep was very helpful in meeting my needs. The cable is now in use. We can now watch movies on our small TV in our sun room. I brought cable before this one at another store but it didn't workout. I recommended to a friend to buy his from this store. Just tell the sales rep what you need and you will be helped.

Nothing short of a miracle! Before I bought this cable my tower and monitor were little more than dust collecting paper weights. Now 8 easy installation steps later I'm typing this review on a fully functioning PC like a true hustler! Best feature is the 3.9' length as it's a real space saver over the 4ft models offered by lesser companies.

This cable does absolutely the same job as a $100 Monster cable. Don't forget that it is a digital signal which either works or does not work, so there is no such thing that some cables provide "better" quality signal than others. The only thing to be seen in the future is how durable is this cable comparing to the outrageously expensive Monster cables, but yet again, it simply cannot justify the price difference. Overall, do not spend more money than you should on a cable, it won't make any difference in your picture quality...

Have just broken the three Hdmi cables when we removed the TV from the wall without unplugging these cables. Tried to fix them but no avail. Need to replace it asap and I went to your store near our place and looked for the cheapest ones and bought it and to my surprise it serves the purpose, so happy and would highly recommend. Bought 2 cables before from Walmart for same price but didn't work so I returned them. Thank you for having you there when we need you with the greatest products and the best prices. Keep up to be the BEST!

Presentation/Availability: Product was well packaged with no broken/opened box. There were many available at the store Performance: It does exactly what I needed. Cable was available in different lengths. Image and sound quality is good so I know is working perfectly. Customer service: Very good customer service. I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked through the door and helped me to contact the correct employee at the right area for getting my product, which I did quickly.

This is the second one I have purchased. Cables are great for home entertainment system. I added this to upgrade the output of my DVD player. Don't know how good they would be for longer runs but they are perfect for short connections between TV, Cable set top box and DVD. Why would people spend big bucks when these work just as well.

I had it on the list, honestly. It had been recommended when I bought the flat screen. I don't know why I didn't. Then, during a call with Comcast the tech suggested it again: four times. So I did. Read the headline again. It was as if I had purchased a whole new television. Even the sound is better; although I do admit that the effect may only be enhanced by the amazing picture. I'm going to have to get a longer version when I move the television but, for now, I'm Very Happy.

Well really this is kind of silly but it is an HDMI cable. Digital cables like this either work or not and this one works. Don't get fooled by gold this and that just get a cheap cable. If you are working in some high tech fancy media center with a lot of cross talk, then spend money on shielded cables. Other than that this is just fine.
