this product works just great.very light weight and color full making it easy to locate and find.the strap makes saving from frying a board or any other circuitry

This is a very necessary product if you are going to work on computers or any electrical product that can be damaged from static electricity. You attach the alligator clip to a grounded piece of metal and with the wrist band attached you are grounded and should not damage any delicate electrical product. Absolutely critical product to have if you work on a computer.

It purpose is to keep your electronics safe while working on them, don’t think it does anything though, but good thing to have just incase you were jumping on a trampoline, moving around alot in your bed, or you have carpet everywhere.

This is a great item to have when working in computer or any other electronic device that requires grounding. The price makes it affordable for anyone wanting to work on electronic devices.

I bought this to build first computer and its cheap works and not easily ripped.. so 5 out of 5

The strap goes on and off easily. It has a snap on snap off feature that lets you walk away from the work area while leaving the strap on your wrist (very handy if you are a coffee drinker and you like to keep your cup of coffee full and away from the work area!). Other than that, it does the job. The clip did not always stay clamped on - that was partially due to the length of the cord, could be a foot longer.

This was an excellent price and does exactly what it is supposed to do.

it is cheap and protects your electronics. it last forever.. :)

It's chea and can save your electronics If you're working on a expensive part you should buy it

This thing works like a charm. I bring it with me wherever I go. When fools start static, I put on the Dynex Anti-Static wristband, attach it to the nearest metal object, and it squashes any static from any sucka within 10 yards. It also works excellently for computer repair.

Used with my first computer build. No problems and all booted up great. There are enough things to worry about when building a computer for the first time. Its nice to eliminate the risk static shock can do to you expensive components. Cheapest form of service plan is to prevent a problem.

I always use it and in these past two months I have no complaints at all for this device, it really works very well.

Works as intended. They should make it a little bit larger as im sure this is people with bigger wrists then me.

You clamp it on your wrist and to a grounding source to create an equal potential plane and prevent static electricity from damaging the sensitive components whilst working on the internal guts of your electronic device. And it does that.

Its good for grounding yourself, kind of hard to put on if you have large hands. Easy you us, you just put wrist strap on, clip it on to a metallic part of your case and your grounded.

Cheap way to prevent yourself from introducing static electricity into the inside of your computer. I don't know what the consequences are of that happening but it's worth it to pay the $5 for this little thing to never find out.

Probably didn't really need to buy it, but it was my first time doing a significant upgrade to my only operational computer and didn't want to fry something in the process. I do wish the cord was a bit longer. It snapped back off of the frame once or twice when I had to reach away with both hands.
