Listen our old school 1st generation iPhones still power up and this cable can still charge them. Think about a long trip and then trying to locate a store that still sells this antique. BUY IT! before they stop making this in the future.

Easy on the hand, it is now on clearance and the truth is the iPad 1st gen keeps on trucking and has year to go of enjoyment. Now when these are gone, you will be looking all over last minute and pay top dollar.

This is a Great Charger for my phone while I am in the car. Works great, charges the phone pretty quickly. A very Good buy.

Well whadaya know, such things still exist! It charges my old iPhones and iPads. Can't complain.

It’s an inexpensive but well-made car charger. It’s limited though — you’ll only ever be able to charge one device, and you can only charge devices with the older 30-pin Apple connector. All the new devices that Apple makes use the smaller Lightning connector, and this charger won’t work with it. If you are willing to spend more money, you can get a charger with multiple ports that can pump out lots of amps to charge all manner of devices at the same time. But maybe you don’t have a lot of devices that need to be charged at the same time. Maybe you spend your time in your car paying attention to the road instead of twittering on Bookface. Maybe if all you have is one iPhone 4S. Then this charger will suit you just fine.

This car charger has worked great. It charges quickly and seems to be made of quality materials. Some of my "apple" chargers have cords that tear and wear out quickly, but this one seems sturdy. It is a great value for the price, plus with the rest of my order I got free shipping.

I bought this to charge my iPhone 4 in my car, and it works very well with my iPhone. The cord is very study and is quite long. At such a low price, I am glad I bought this instead of spending three times a much on an Apple cord.
