Poor quality - Works if you jiggle it

I received this charger as a gift from a friend. She bought it at a great price in a Black Friday sale. I was able to use it in my car for about a week then it stopped working. So naturally I thought maybe the car power socket was defective so I tried my Garmin GPS charger in the same socket and the Garmin started charging. I also tried this Dynex charger in my friends' cars and it didn't work either. I noticed that if I rotated the charger in the socket a few degrees to the left or right it would work for a brief period of time. I don't understand why it would stop working so soon. I haven't had a chance to enjoy using it. This product had a short life in my experience.
