I ordered this product refurbished for a great price but was hoping that it would be more reliable. It often disconnects from my wireless internet while I am listening to Pandora or streaming Netflix and it doesn't allow me to reconnect right away unless I turn the device completely off and on again. It seems a bit glitchy as Netflix has crashed a couple times. I have been using it for a week and a half and haven't decided if I will return it. It may work better with an ethernet cord for internet connection. When it works, it works great but it is not always reliable so I guess you get what you pay for since this is a bit cheaper than other models.

This Dynex Blu-Ray player was ordered online and it arrived in a timely fashion. When I connected it and tried to power it on...nothing...this unit was shipped to me DOA. I returned it to my local BB store and after waiting in the customer service line for 25 minutes...I was told that since I used reward points to purchase it that all they could do was credit my account....I was hoping to exchange for another model and pay the difference, but this was not allowed...real nice, what a complete waste of an order and half a day!

I recieved this a couple of days ago and had it installed and set up quickly. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked for just $39.99. The picture is great, the menu easy to use, and the wi fi range good. My wi fi is set up on the opposite side of my house and the player connects just as fast as the roku box I was using. My only compaint is that there is no manual-you have to get it online. I'm old fashioned (still read print newspaper# and had to waste a little ink printing it. It looked brand new #no scuffs or scratches) and if it turns out to have any longevity a steal at the price.

I have been using it for about over a year now. I bought as a refurbished item for $39.99, but it has been working fabulously. It got updated automatically and now it has YouTube too. Wifi connectivity, Netflix and everything else works fine on it. On top of that it plays all kinds of DVDs, even recorded ones, which aren't played by other popular brands. I highly recommend it over other expensive Blue-Ray players.

I bought this as a 2nd blu-ray player for the bedroom primarily to use for netflix. Setup took me less than 5 minutes (tip - it will ask you if you want to download the newest software version - Do it). I was impressed with how quickly it streams netflix movies too - quicker than my sony in the living room which cost 3X as much. The navigation for netflix - FF & Rewind - seem to be quicker and easier to use during playback than my sony bluray too. Also works great on blu-ray playback - loadup seemed to be super quick unlike what I had read in some other reviews. DVDs play great too. I really have not tried the wi-fi, as it was very easy for me to put the USB into it in my bedroom. The remote could be designed a little better, but works fine once you get used to it. Bottom line, this thing has everything you need from a blu-ray player (wifi, netflix, playback, etc.), and works just as good as the ones 3 times the cost. At this price, I may buy another as a backup for the guest bedroom.

Bought this for my sons bedroom & my art studio so him and I could have Netflix and a DVD player because I don't have cable hooked up in that room. It wirks perfectly. You can't beat the price! Get one while you can as I was told they're discontinuing this model. I bought a second one for our 60" Samsung TV and the picture is GREAT on a blu ray disc (we one have one 'Sherlock Holmes' lol). I'm about to order a third one for my bedroom because I've had such a good experience with the other two I bought!
