Posted .Hi there, this is Joe with Dyson. We are happy to hear you are enjoying your Dyson Hot+Cool. The AM05 is the same height as our previous AM04 heater fan. The AM02 and AM07 tower fans are larger, however, they do not have a heating element.

Have purchased two of their brand-new vacuum cleaners, the newest electric one and then the battery operated one. Those are both awesome. But when they stated this fan cools a room and it had a 32° setting??! It didn't even drop the temperature of the room 1° I was totally frustrated.

Air conditioning units and the Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan are two very different products that work in very different ways. An air conditioner refrigerates the air it supplies, allowing the air in the room to be made cooler than the ambient temperature outside. The Dyson Air Multiplier™ fan cools a person by moving air over and around them.

Just blows warm air in to a warm room

Posted .Hi Keith, this is Aimee with Dyson. Our air multiplier line, unlike an AC unit that is designed to chill the air, consists of blade-less fans. The air temperature does not change, it is the air flow which cools the user. Each of the machines have the option of increasing the speed of the air expelled from the machine, which is adjusted with the remote control.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had an interior room approx 9FT x 15FT that needed heating (it had poor insulation and would seem almost as cold as outside (San Francisco est 50F at the time). This was able to handle the job with no issue and heats the room rather quickly as the highest power setting is pretty solid. The remote allows you to easy change temperature, the oscillator, airflow power, and power on/off easily. The only 'con' I would say this has is the sound level at which it operates - although a smooth sound, it is loud enough that you're always aware of it's operation (although not so loud it is annoying you) You can sleep with it operating, but you'll be much more satisfied with it on the lower power airflow setting so it makes less noise. Overall, great buy for a very well-designed product which gets the job done.
