I wouldn't have believed it without having purchased this fan on how quiet it operates and how different the airflow from the unit feels compared to a blade style. Is a hard pill to swallow to buy a $300 fan but is definitely worth it as it don't have to listen to it rattle at night, see the dust sit on the blades and fit to clean them, and the best part is the wife is happy.

Just like the two Dyson vacuum cleaners we have, this Dyson fan does not disappoint. Super quiet and cool - perfect for a bedroom or office.

I work in a hot environment and the A/C doesn't cut it. I found this fan not only looks cool but keeps me cool. Love the different settings and oscillation.

Okay, this fan is great. We've owned it for roughly two months and we've used it 24/7. The fan has ten levels of speed and it rotates. Overall the fan operates quietly. This may be an issue for people who buys fans to generate noise while they try to sleep. For others though the fan is awesome as it can be turned on in a room with a TV for example and it doesn't disrupt viewing. I docked a start due to the high price of the fan. I'm not sure any fan of this size should cost this much. Hopefully the fan last a very long time to warrant the price though.

I had been on the fence about this fan for a long time. The main thing that held me back was the price. It is expensive and hence I took a star off for that. Otherwise this fan is great! I absolutely love how quiet this fan is. Even on its highest setting it’s fairly quiet even at my bedside. I usually don’t even have it on the highest setting as it is quite powerful as well. If price is the only thing holding you back I would go for it. I am not disappointed with it at all!

It’s very rare that i get really excited about items like….fans for instance! This one is GREAT! okay, they’re a bit pricey, but if you need a fan that really pumps the air, and is QUIET to boot. THIS is your BABY! Those are the exact reasons i looked into the Dyson™ fans. I’m soon glad I did! You will use this fan a lot! It may even become …..YOUR BIGGEST FAN!! LOL!

So far this fan has been great! I have it next to my desk at about 8 and is fairly quiet and keeps me cool. Definitely on the higher priced side, but I'm enjoying the small footprint of the entire unit. Fortunately the time when I got this, it was $70 off the regular price, so it was good deal at the time.

I purchased the stand up desk by autonomous and wanted a fan that I could sit on my desk and not be to loud but still move air around. This fan has done that and exceeded my expectations. This fan still make noise, but if you ever got one of those 3 inch fans, it's more quite than that but not by much. I hope that helps anyone else looking at this fan.

I love this fan! It's small and will fit anywhere. It's easy to move from room to room and travels well. It's a little pricey but worth the money!

Got this fan for the office. Looks amazing and cools the temp down. Has a remote with all control functions. Very responsive.

We have a ceiling fan in our room, but it just doesn't direct air exactly where you need it. This fans is super quiet and in the oscillation mode really helps spread the cool air from the AC around the room. I even sleep better. It may be a little pricy, but it definitely does an awesome job of spreading the cool air.

It keeps me cool. It is quiet. It doesn't blow my papers around. Perfect for my home office. I've also used it in my bedroom. Works great!

I love this fan! It's awesome but I just wish it had 1 more higher setting. I bought it for my fiancée's room in a nursing home I didn't want a fan with blades and I liked how it didn't feel too overwhelming but even though the room is small it does seem to get lost a bit with the power. I just wish it had 1 or 2 more higher settings to give more power especially for $300 but overall I would recommend to everyone.

I now have 4 of these. They have great air flow and I don't have to worry about my dog putting his face in it and getting hurt.

this fan moves a lot of air for it's small size and it's very quiet. the remote control makes it very convenient to operate.

There is nothing better than a Dyson product. This fan has great cooling power, is very quiet and no visible blades. Awesome.
