While expensive, this is quite simply the best fan I have ever purchased, used, or experienced. It moves a great amount of air at a large number of variable speeds, is relatively quiet, and is easy to clean. The remote -- that attaches magnetically to the unit for storage -- is a great feature.

This fan works great. It's very quiet compared to your box or pedestal fans. It's stylish - you'd never guess it's a fan. And it oscillates with a rather wide range. Also has multiple speeds and a remote control. Got it for a super price. Would recommend.

There was some skeptical belief it would work. I was surprised by how much air is pushed through the fan. It does a good job cooling the room. Would buy another one.

This fan sweeps my living room and family room, and it is quiet. My rooms are large ((LR about 35*20, FAM about 18*20 square feet). I set the fan in the large passage between the two rooms, and use the oscillator. It provides a quiet, soft breeze to the entire area. Not a wind that requires one to weight down the papers on the table, but a gentle cooling air that provides comfort. The noise is minimal, and even my fussy family members tolerate it easily. Sometimes I use the fan for both rooms, sometimes I direct it just toward the dining area. It serves us exactly as I hoped it would. I'm very pleased.

I love this Dyson fan! I've been wanting one for years and years and it's been well worth the wait. Having only used traditional bladed fans before this one is such an upgrade. Easy to clean, easy to use, and makes the whole room feel cool and fresh, and I usually have it on level 2 or 3. The higher settings are super powerful. So glad I finally took the plunge! I got it for a great deal too, and Best Buy even price-matched it for me when it went on a better sale less than a week later. Highly recommend!

Great fan. Dyson products are super. This one is no exception. Keeps me sleeping comfortable in the summer heat and my air con is broken! Best Buy got it to me in no time at all and the box was entirely undamaged and unopened, unlike I've read in some other reviews.

We love this product. We bought it when our A/C went out this summer and we could not get it fixed until one month later. It helped us stay cool during the night for a few weeks.
