We had a traditional floor fan that made it impossible to clean because of the blades and the fact that it was impossible to take apart to clean. In addition, I was worried that the stray dust balls would harm my infant daughter. So my wife gets the Dyson because it was on sale and man what a difference! By far the best purchase we made! It's very quiet, so easy to clean and the remote makes it super convenient!

Im not sure how it cools the air as it fliws though, but it does

It is a bit expensive but worth every penny. It lives up to the hype. We have had it for 18 months and are very happy.

Got it for my parents and my dad loves it ! Dyson is great , not worth the full price but i got it half price on black friday! If its on sale go for it !!!

I bought this as a gift for my dad. I love the look of a Dyson fan. It's almost like art! Plus, you don't have to worry about little ones around these fans because there's no blades. It works well and does what it's supposed to. The only issue is that it sometimes comes on randomly on it's own. I'm assuming remotes for other devices are being used and it's somehow working on the fan as well. Also, it's really expensive just for a fan.

Yes, it is pricey, but it works! Long story short, the HVAC in our master bath is not sufficient for the size of the room, and it gets incredibly humid after a shower. In the time before we get to the remodel, I’ve had a tower fan with vents that I moved around constantly in a fruitless effort for relief. Finally splurged and bought the Dyson and it has made a world of difference! For my purposes, the value is not in making the room “cold” necessarily, but it keeps it from getting overly warm.

Great price, works as advertised. Quiet and circulates the air in our living room. Prior to the Dyson we had a tower fan, lasted about two years and became noisy. Dyson is much better quality.

I wanted a slim form and a lot of air for my workout room, this fan fit exactly what I wanted. It looks great, takes up a small footprint, super easy to dust off. On high it's a little loud, but this is due to the mechanics of moving the air... so it really can't be helped on any fan. Remote is awesome feature, you can aim it where you want, or let it cycle back and forth. Not cheap, but well made, and great looking.
