This was a gift to me from my husband - he got it Black Friday for quite a steal. This heater/fan combo is amazing! It heats our living room very nicely! I love the remote feature - the whole unit is sleek and very well made. Way to go Dyson!

We recently purchased the Dyson Heater and fan for use in our RV to get rid of the chill in the Spring and Fall and to cool it down in the Summer. We like the small size which makes it easy to store. With the coronavirus we had to put our trip on hold but we did try it at home. It worked great warming up our room quickly. I like all the options it gives us and the temperature control. I like all the options to control the air flow.

This fan is an excellent addition to the household the sleek design and magnitude of the air flow you can't go wrong. The only down fall is the price dyson is innovative but cost is a little over the top.

The fan can only really be operated with the remote. Not using the remote is time consuming. That it, all the rest of the fan works great. At first mat not think it is working, then you start to fell how warm the room as become. It has temp. control, with a throstat. It will cover a good circle or just stay still. It cover a narrow or wide path. Which every way you use it, it does it's little Dyson job. Oh it is also a good fan. It makes a little metallic sound a few seconds after being shut off.

I bought it primarily for the heating aspect and it works WONDERS. It heats up fast and easily cools down fast as well- hardly any delay. Lots of control options from the remote and the remote is actually magnetic so you can place it on top of the unit. Which is great. It IS a little louder than I thought but it's also not too bad. I enjoy the white noise while I sleep. I've been using this product for over a month now and I have minimal dust buildup around the vents. Which easily wipes off with a cloth. It doesn't get super hot around the base and it's also not very heavy. Great for smaller rooms with limited space. I set this unit on my dresser. The only reason why I wouldn't give this a 5-star review is that the fan aspect is 'meh'. It works decently well but I still wake up at night feeling really hot even with it set on 7 or 8. (which those settings is REALLY loud)

Before buying this I read on a review "this is the bentley of space heaters" and I cannot agree more. The high price is purely for the look, aesthetics and safety that comes from having no blades or open heating element that can burn you, other than that it pretty much gets the job done like all the other space heaters I've owned. One additional benefit may be that it does not collect dust on the back side like other space heaters because it moves air through an open frame from dyson's proprietary "air multiplier technology." It is pricey and if all you're looking for is heating a space then other space heaters may be better suited for you. I would recommend this if you have toddlers or children because it is bladeless and does not heat up to such an extent that it could hurt a child. The device comes with two modes of air distribution "jet direct" and a wide open distribution. I like the jet direct air because it blows hot or cool air directly only you and you definitely feel comfortable without overheating. It is 1500W just like all other space heaters, but will save you money because you can set a temperature and it will automatically turn off when that temperature is reached to avoid overheating a space and wasting money.

I have looked at these for almost a year and figured it would be a okay heater and okay fan....I needed a good fan and heater both, using this for my room in the garage. Decided to look at one in person and was really surprised at how good it was at both tasks....I thought one of the other would suffer....I was wrong. Got it home and tried it out....it works better than the tower fan we were using....and the heater works better than the Duraflame fireplace heater we had been using....it blows a lot of heat ! This really is the best of both worlds.

I love the design of this heater, but sometimes I scratch my head and wonder why I was willing to pay so much for it. The magnetic remote is helpful because it sticks to the top of the heater and doesn't easily get lost. It is quiet enough, especially since you can control the fan speed with the remote. It does rotate, but there's no way to set the rotation to a narrower sweep. The heater does its job as a "personal" heater, but I'm not impressed by its ability to heat a larger room. I would only recommend this to a friend if he/she had plenty of money to burn.

This is an excellent dual-function fan. It cools nicely in warmer weather, and heats appropriately in cooler/colder weather. In the warmer months, it works best in a small room. But the heat function can warm a much larger room. The remote control function is a nice feature and has a small magnet inside that attaches to the outer surface of the fan for storage. The lack of blades makes it quite nice.

This is a very easy to use fan. Assembly is quick, really just a couple of snaps and ready to go out of the box. It is super quiet and reaches either the warm or cool setting very quickly. The magnetic remote makes it easy to keep track of. The size is great for floor or table top.

This new air moving technology has been around a long time. It's about time someone put it to good use for the consumer. This product does what it says it will do. I use mine in a big master bedroom that this product keeps warm and cool when needed and it's quiet. The Dyson AM09 works as great as their vacuum cleaners which I have been using for over 10 years, without any problems. The Dyson AM09 also looks great in any room or decor.

For heating, this seems to work really well, for cooling it's more lackluster. This provides slightly more airflow than the AM06. But it costs almost.. twice as much. The benefit being there's a 1500 Watt heater in this model. If I could do it over again, I'd have bought a A/C unit for 1/3rd the cost. But hey, it's not the worst thing you could buy.

Just got mine in the mail today, been using it all day around me and my kids! Fan and heater works very well and is perfect especially if you have small children!!

Got this for my home office which is located on an outside corner of the house. Gets chilled in Winter and Hot in Summer. Works well, relatively quiet and very sleek while only taking marginal space. Love it so far. Own a Dyson canister vacuum so very happy with products so far. I'd recommend to anyone looking for spacesaving unit that performs well at tad pricier level

This item is worth every penny. The magnetic remote attaches to the top of the fan so you won't ever lose the remote = awesome. The width or length option you can choose to either warm or Cool one person or a group of people = awesome. Heater able to heat up to 99 degrees = awesome. The distance from where you can feel the dyson cool/heat = awesome. Child Safety due to the oval and blade less design = awesome. Energy saving due to the timer = awesome. And everything else a typical heater or fan should have like rotation, high/low settings' tilt adjustable = gotta own one. Best buy of the year. Get yourself one. Wont regret it.

Let's get this out of the way: Yes. It's expensive. You are definitely paying for the Dyson name. With that said, it really is well designed and performs flawlessly. Shop around and be patient (don't forget...Best Buy's price match policy is your friend). So why did I buy this product? First off, I'm a Dyson fan. I love their industrial design and this product is no exception. What isn't readily apparent when researching online is that the black and silver model features a really nice soft-touch exterior. All of the black plastic parts are soft to the touch and feel of quality. And then there's the performance: many conventional space heaters lack a true thermostat. I appreciate that the Dyson can be set to a desired temperature and then turns itself off when that temperature is reached. I also appreciate that it can be used year round. No need to put the AM09 in a closet during the summer months. Simply press the COOL button on the remote and you've got a blade-free Dyson fan to keep you comfortable. So if you're in the market for a nice-looking, effective space heater that can be used year round, take the plunge. I think you'll like it.

Love the fan. I get hot in the summer and cold in the winter at night; whereas, a regular fan just blows the room temp. This fan will actually blow cooler and heat air to fit your comfort. Plus it's a lot quieter then a regular fan.

I PURCHASED THIS AS A GIFT FOR AN OLDER GENTLEMAN. WE TURNED IT ON THIS MORNING AND HE SAID IT WAS THE BEST GIFT HE EVER GOT. WE PUT IT BY HIS CHAIR AT THE KITCHEN TABLE AND HE SOON WAS ABLE TO USE THE REMOTE TO TURN IT ON AND DIRECT THE FLOW OF WARM AIR. THE UNIT WORKS JUST AS ADVERTISED. WE REGISTERED IT BY PHONE AND HAVE A TWO YEAR WARRANTY.

I Love this fan heater, it is quiet, small, and workes well.

My hope when I paid so much for this was that it would act as a heater (which it does well) and as something to help cool a room during the summer (which it really doesn't). The heat part is awesome, but there is no cooling, the cool setting is just a fan that has adjustable power, oscillating, and you can choose the direction of the air (straight at you or a wide flow to the room). It looks nice but I could've bought a fan and an electric heater for a lot less money. We would have returned it but my wife threw away the box. If you have lots to spend, this is a cool looking fan and the heater is great, but don't have high expectations for it to cool you off any differently than any other fan.
