I thought the added bonus of a fan was nice because then I can use it all year round without having to have another device for a fan. I use it as a heater in my attached garage. It heats up the garage fairly quickly after turning it on and I like how it doesn't get hot so I don't need to worry about my daughter touching it and getting hurt. Was spendy but well worth the money for our needs.
