I wanted a small, quiet fan for use in the summer months in my living room. And then wanted the heat function for winter months in my bedroom. This fan is ideal. Not too big and emits a fair amount of air without being too noisy. The remote is a definite bonus to have. Top quality product.

Nice size for a smaller home, gives off enough heat to warm the room. Expensive, got a great price on sale, the option to warm and cool is what sold us on the unit.

Really great fan. Heater option is wonderful but make sure your house fuse box can handle the load if you have multiple items running at the same time.

Great little heater! I use the fan more than the heater part, but if I need one it heats up my office really quickly. Best thing is, it is quiet!

I bought this fan for my office at work. It is quiet and delivers quick heat or cooling from just a touch of the remote control. Would be great in a bedroom also.

This is my second Dyson Fan + Heater. I bought one for my daughter's bedroom a couple of years ago because her bedroom is the bonus room over the garage and the heater keeps her bedroom nice and warm. It warms up her room quickly. It works so good in her bedroom that I decided to purchase another one for the Living room since the living room is the coolest room in the house during the winter months and it warms up the living room nicely and it's very quiet plus I can set it to go off when it reaches a certain temperature that I set it at. During the summer months I will put it in my bedroom because I like my room really cool in the summer. I am very please with they Dyson - AM09 Fan + Heater!!

High price is my only con. Works very well at both heating and cooling a small to medium room, remote is extremely convenient, looks fantastic, safe around children (no blades, shuts off when tipped over), and Dyson has great customer service in my 4+ years of their product ownership.

Our furnace went out during the coldest days of December in LA (yeah we know, it wasn't that cold). The Dyson made our fairly open living room plenty comfortable while being very quiet and not an eyesore. It won't blast out heat like some space heaters will but it also didn't feel like it was a small bump from burning down the house, not to mention no blades to hurt little fingers. If you were using this to heat your house I don't think it'd get it done but this really isn't that kind of product. It's got the added benefit of being a summer fan as well!

This heater is amazing. It worked great to heat up a room during a recent winter storm, and I also felt that it was very safe. I followed the instructions, and it was easy to use. I have not yet tried the cooling side of this, but based on how the heating side worked, I'm confident that this will handle the hot days as well as the cold.

I love my new Dyson heater/fan unit. this is my second unit purchased. my first one blew only heat but this one blows cold air too. very convenient addition to the bathroom while getting ready for the day. Warms up those cold, hard to get moving fall/winter mornings when you dread getting out of the nice warm shower with a wet head. and the reverse is true of the spring/summer months. it cools you off so you're able to stand the bathroom temp while styling your hair without dripping with sweat. great buy!!

I just love this fan! It is the perfect size, and with the dual temperatures you can go from cool setting during the day and change it to warmer setting at night during our crazy Florida January weather! The Dyson design is a mystery to me with it lacking traditional blades, however I love it and think it’s genius..

Used at my mother's house. She is always cold. Love the remote, you don't have to get up to turn it on or off. Heats her small room nicely.

Was looking for a mulit directional fan that was quiet and also worked as a heater. This unit delivers! Would recommend.

I always wanted this and got it for Xmas. Have been using it every day since. Best part is that it has a fan and heating function.

Easy to setup. Small profile and foot print. The heating is very good for room use. It has 2 different setting for narrow or wide angle. It’s not big enough for larger room use such as living room especially with high ceiling. The cold function is not as good, you have to sit close to it to get the cool wind.

Dyson delivers on a compact size space heater that runs very quietly. This has worked well as an alternative to using the noisy propane heater in our 24' Sprinter van. We put it to the test in the Pacific Northwest winter conditions and it worked like a charm. Look forward to using the fan in the summer months.

I like the convience of having a fan an heater together. It has a small footprint and is quiet.

This heater gives off great heat and warms up a room very fast. It is also great for spot heating which I use near a drafty sliding glass door. It is very sleek and fits in with any decor and takes up very little space. I haven't had an opportunity to use the cooling setting but I'm sure it will perform just as well.

Does everything a fan can do, but it also can heat up a room well. Unobtrusive, quiet, contemporary styling, oscillates, heat & cool, no blades, magnetic remote control attaches to fan so it won't get misplaced. Impressive, thoughtful engineering.

Nice fan with option of setting the temperature, find it effective and safe!
