It does a great job reaching under furniture. The articulating feature makes it incredibly useful. The on-board (included with the vacuum tools) don't even come close to doing the job the Articulating Hard Floor Tool does. If you have hard floors, you NEED this tool.

Posted .Hi Connie, this is Kelly with Dyson. The articulating hard floor was designed to work with the majority of our corded upright and canister vacuum cleaners. There may be a few models that would require the use of an adaptor, which would fit between the tool and machine, to allow use of this tool. I understand that you've returned your tool.
