I Love, love my new Dyson vacuum cleaner. I have wanted one for years but because of the price could never seem to get one. I love that Best Buy has these daily deals and I caught it on sale for a good price. I look at this vacuum cleaner as the Mercedes of vacuum cleaners. The only con I have with this vacuum cleaner is I wish it was made out of sturdier material. It feels a little flimsy as though it’s going to break and it’s heavy but it vacuums great.

I know spending $400 on a vacuum may seem like a bit much, but if you live in a decent size place, you need to buy a good vacuum. The $100-150 vacuum range just doesn't have a strong-enough suction after a couple months of use...Even the initial suction isn't enough to properly clean rugs or corners. We purchased this on sale for our apartment, and the floors feel so much cleaner. It picks up huge pockets of dust every week we vacuum, and we don't even know where the dust comes from. The toolset that comes with the packaging is also a huge plus. We use the long tube for corners/wall-edges and hard-to-reach areas under the bed, for example. One downside to this vacuum is that it's pretty heavy to maneuver. I wouldn't recommend it for the elderly, as it might be too much for them to comfortably use. Hardwood/carpet/rug/corners/pet hair/etc... You won't be disappointed with this one.

I’m a big fan of this vacuum but it does have its flaws. It works really well on carpet but struggles a bit on hard floors. The long hose is awesome but the vacuum tends to fall over when you pull the hose.

My third Dyson product and I love this one even more than my others. I have a 2 story house and my first Dyson is used upstairs. The Dyson stick is for quick clean ups. This one is used downstairs where my fur baby stays. It is excellent for getting up all the black fur that finds its way to all the nooks and corners. Great suction and easy to assemble and use.

This is my first Dyson product and it won't be my last. I was always suspicious of the premium price you pay for Dyson products but I have friends, who own three dogs, that own multiple Dyson products and refuse to purchase any other vacuum. I recently got a dog and thought I'd give Dyson a try after this product went on sale as a "Deal of the Day" through Best Buy. The vacuum is 1000% as good as advertised and raved about. It picked up stuff in my carpet that I had no idea was there. My basement is carpet with the rest of my house being a mix of hard wood or slate and the vacuum performs perfectly on all three surfaces. I'm sold, between the warranty and the performance, I'm a Dyson convert.

We have a very fluffy lab/terrier mix who weighs 85 pounds. Despite vacuuming every other day with our old model, the amount of hair and debris this Dyson picked up made me feel like I had never cleaned once since we moved here ten years ago! There's no more doggy smell and our carpets look great, plus the wand is easier to use than on our previous vacuum. On the flipside, the Dyson is fairly heavy and a little clumsy to work with because it's much bigger than what I'm used to...but I'm sure with time I'll adjust to the difference. Also, I can't vacuum small area rugs unless someone stands on the other end to hold it down because the Dyson suction is so strong. With floors this clean though, I'm willing to give it a go!

This is the best and strongest vacuum I've ever owned. Despite it being a bit heavy, it is very easy to maneuver and comes with plenty of attachments to vacuum nearly any space. Super convenient and well worth the price!

This is a great vaccuum. It was easy to assemble. It's a little heavy, so stairs take getting used to. Suction is amazing, and it's easy to maneuver. I'd buy it again.

This Vacuum sucks so hard you should be very care on throw rugs, Very deep cleaning of the carpet (fluffs it up like new) A little hard on wrist with the swivel movement. Love the long cord for distance.

I must say that as of today, I now own 5 Dyson vacuums. I love all of them. I just gave my yellow multi-floor ball vacuum to my son for his house. My husband did not like the yellow ball vacuum. He used it on our lower level Berber carpet. He hadn’t changed the filter for a couple of years and complained that he thought it was clogged somewhere. I brought it upstairs and cleaned it, replaced the filters and it was like new. Strong suction. It worked perfectly!!! Now, I am purchasing the animal ball multi-floor vacuum to replace the yellow. I still have my original Animal Upright. 15 years old!!! Still works. I’ve had to replace parts, but it’s old and reliable. I also own the cordless animal. I use this the most. Versatility and the ability to handle cat and dog hair and my grandchildren’s messes are it’s greatest attributes! Take care of your products, replace filters and they will stand the test of time. Awesome products!!!

This Dyson vacuum has a lot of power and easy to use. It has a very long cord so it is easy to vacuum your whole house. I would highly recommend this vacuum.

Works great for dog hair on carpets. Gets all the hair out and it’s easy to clean. I like that it has a cord so it doesn’t die midway cleaning

The Dyson Ball Animal is by far the best vacuum I have ever owned. Granted, I've only owned 2 vacuums prior (Bissell, and Eureka); but none-the-less I had been eyeing the Dyson line for years. I finally managed to obtain one and I am very happy I did. The vacuum proves time and time again great suction w/o fail. The manuervability of the ball makes it a smooth chore, the switch between carpet to floor is awesome! Hello Dyson...Goodbye dust pan! Also makes cleaning up after my dog much easier considering the amount of hair that is shed during the summer. Overall, vacuum looks and performs great. I also got it at a fantastic price due to the Best Buy rewards program AND it was on sale at the time!

Bought this to replace our old Dyson. The old one lasted about 10 years and we are hoping to get just as long out of this new one. It works amazing! Our carpets look refreshed and almost new after just one use. The amount of pet hair and dust that it picks up is kind of disgusting (in a good way). The attachments are great and it's pretty impressive how far the hose reaches. Definitely worth every penny.

I got this when they had it on sale for the deal of the day. I don’t have a pet, but the extra attachments and suction is fantastic. I love how you can see all the dirt you clean up. I know it should be disturbing how dirty your floors can get, but it’s oddly satisfying when you’re done.

I’ve always purchased inexpensive vacuums because I always thought that getting the job done was good enough. After buying this vacuum for 50% off I now know that this has the best suction power out there. My carpet was so clean after using it that it almost looked a shade lighter. The surface of the carpet looked clean enough but after seeing ALL of the dust and dirt that gets pulled out from deep underneath I am a huge believer and fan of Dyson products. My wife loves to Vacuum now!

I love my new Dyson. It's the first one I've owned and it lives up to everything it is touted to be! My one drawback is the instructions to assemble - OMG I am a visual person, but the pictorial instructions made little sense to me. I had to keep looking at the photos on the box to see how the vacuum was assembled. I still have one attachment that I don't know where to place. However, it works like a dream, and my carpets look like new! It pulled out grit and dust in an amazing fashion (and I'd recently had them professionally cleaned). Great purchase, very impressive.

I had this similar model prior which i used for almost 3 years. The suction power is awesome and does its job really well. I switched to a shark vaccum cleaner it did not last for a year. Again got this one back and happy with how its performaing. Only downside would be its heavy conpared to otger wired vaccun cleaners

I love how compact it is, yet powerful. The animal attachment definitely works, pulling out lots of long hair from my carpet. You might get clumps of hair that don't get sucked up first round but I'd rather have easily picked up clumps than all that hair just laying in the carpet. One way or another the hair comes out, a must have for people with longer hair. It does struggle with my thicker rug a bit but seems to do fine with normal carpeting. Feels solid and not cheap, an awesome little machine. I like all the attachments and adjustments you can make. It's easy to figure out how to change things, no searching for what buttons to press or how to attach/detach. (Unlike other machines that had capabilities but I couldn't see how to make it happen).
