I have used this for about a month now and it works great. The filter is easy to clean, and the vacuum is very functional. The head of the vacuum, the part that sucks up the dirt is rather small of this is going to be your primary vacuum. It's light but really should be a secondary vacuum unless you have a small apartment.

I LOVED my Dyson DC26. It was compact, light (12lbs!), effective, multifloor, and just fabulous! My father borrowed it one weekend, and I never got it back (ha!). So, I chose the DC47 because it had all the same features as the DC26, but a tad better in suction, even tho it's a pound heavier. Regardless, LOVE my vac!

This vaccum is really easy to manipulate, however it is small so it is perfect for our small apartment

I'm in the business of industrial vacuuming and when it comes to the vacuum I use at home, I choose nothing but Dyson. This particular vacuum is great. I previously had a cordless model and I liked it but the battery only lasted 20 minutes, so I upgraded to this one. When looking into vacuums I'd say Dyson has the strongest suction and for the most part all the models have about the same amount of suction. The biggest decision you have to make is what attachments you need and whether or not to go cordless. So all in all great vacuum.

If you know what you are buying it for you will be happy. It is not for a home with all carpet. I have my living room and some steps, then one bedroom with carpet and it works great. If I had a huge house and needed to do every single room, then you would want to go with the bigger dyson because the head on this one is smaller. But with it being smaller, the steps are easier and moving it from room to room is easy.

It is lightweight and easy to work on stairs. The vacuum cleans hardwood, carpet and tile beautifully. It gets high marks for the amount of pet hair it picks up. It was easy to put together and the bagless feature is great.

Exactly what I'd expect from Dyson. Our last Dyson lasted 15 years and is still going strong, even with a hole in the hose. We decided to get this to change things up from a design standpoint. The canister concept is nice and compact but still flexible and powerful. Only complaint would be a smaller canister than I'm used to so you have to empty more often.

I would recommend this product to anyone. It works very good

Loving this vacuum. I like how the filters are washable, and the retractable cord is awesome. I just wish the cord were about 6 feet longer. I like how easy it is to carry around and the tools that it comes with are top notch.

The roller head is so small it would take forever to vacuum a small house.

Good vacuum cleaner, but unlike commercials say Dyson's do eventually lose there suction power.

Works great for getting all dirt up and powerful suction. It is not a normal size vacuum head which is fine with us since we don't have much carpet in large areas. Easy to use for my wife who has physical disablities, so the light weight design makes it easy for her

So far we love this vacuum. It's simple and easy to operate. Very lightweight. We use it for every floor type: tile, wood, carpet. Especially love it for our staircases.

This is the 2nd Dyson animal vacuum cleaner I have purchased this year. I got it for my Mom who cannot lift heavy objects. This vacuum is easy to pull without much effort. Just what she needed. However, the main reason for the purchase was the Dyson name and reputation which has not failed us. This is a great product.

I bought my mother the Animal upright a few years ago because her dog shed VERY bad. My Mother who is now 89 was having trouble handling the big heavy upright, I saw this and decided to get it and let her try it... She couldn't be happier with it! It does great on the hardwood, Ceramic tile and the carpet stays clean.... She doesn't move as fast as I do, so it picks up great for her!

I have had to get this vacuum replaced three times due to the attachment not working. I am glad I bought a warranty
