Easy to push, but kind of heavy. Picked up lots of dirt in one vacuum. Would prefer to have a retractable cord. Love that it is bagless. The picture attached was from 2 small rooms going around furniture.

Pros - Great suction, 5 stars, one of the best I’ve used. If you have carpet in your whole house or bedrooms, then this is a great vacuum. - ability to turn off brushes. - works on hard floors Cons - Not good for small rugs, like entry way (see picture), kitchen mats etc. the suction is so good that it just sucks and holds on one spot. - Not good on any long threaded rugs (see picture) Even if large enough to where it doesn’t lift up the whole rug, the long threads get stuck in the rolls. There’s no manual height adjustment to lift the rolls so they are not so deep. Yes you can turn the brush off, but then you don’t get a good clean. Many other vacuums where you can raise the height to maximum work fine on these rugs. - there’s no release lever to tilt the vacuum back when ready to start, you just sort of lean it back and it “breaks” away. Hard to explain but I don’t like it. I have hard floors throughout my home with areas rugs so I’m disappointed this vacuum doesn’t work on all my floors. If whole home is carpet, then could be a good buy.

Received this Dysom and put it immediately to work. I have a cat and a dog and it really does the job. Don’t know how it compares to the others but for the price I could not be happier.

I always wanted to own a Dyson vacuum cleaner but was never able to afford one. Then I saw a Best Buy ad that was offering a Dyson vacuum for $200 with the regular price being around $400+. This was the best price I'd ever seen for this product so I purchased it. Needless to say, I am extremely happy with this product. Best vacuum I've EVER owned. Thanks BEST BUY.

I had been looking for a vacuum cleaner that could really get the job done but not be to heavy. Needed a simple machine that had an aggressive auction mechanism such that it really cleaned the first time, every time. I think my Dyson is such a vacuum cleaner. Thank you

Work's pretty well, this is the same model I already had so it was replacing my current one that was showing its age. I was a little disappointed that Dyson didn't improve the functionality of the upright position. It's a little rough getting it to lock in place just as my old one but basically the price I got III t for was worth the investment. The photos reflect minor differences between the changes they made on the same model vacuum several years later. The new one is on the right, the canister is quite a bit larger and the inlet has changed in the wat the air enters the canister. I didn't realize it until I brought it home

Easy assembly best vacuumed I’ve ever owned if it breaks I would buy another for sure

This is the second vacuum, I've replaced. It has a powerful suction capability but very poorly built and cheap plastic parts. The red handle separated from the inner tube. It appears that the two parts were glued together by manufacturer but the glue didn't hold it together after using this vacuum for almost 1 months.

Returned it and purchased the Dyson and for me it is night and day. My Dyson truly never loses suction, it goes from carpet to hardwood and like I said no suction loss. Excellent if you can pick a Dyson Ball NIB under 249.99 Best Buy Deal of the Day, no other company can touch it and would even fight you on lowering to do the price match. I am sticking with Best Buy everytime these days.

I have always wanted a Dyson and finally found one online at Best Buy. Great price and best vacuum I’ve owned in all my 42 years.

This is a quality vacuum cleaner. very powerful and effective. I have used normal vacuum cleaner in past and this seemed like overpriced. But I could see the difference when using this. Pros: - easy to use - not heavy - very effective, level of suction is awesome - nice build quality - washable filters - manual switch for brush beater bar giving it 4 stars only for high price. Product quality wise this is 5/5.

I decided to buy this vacuum because the other Dyson I have is way too small for the space that I have to vacuum. This vacuum is wonderful! It has very good suction, and the bagless dirt container is huge. I normally had to empty out the canister for my other one after vacuuming a small section. However, for this one, I can vacuum an entire room before I even fill up the canister halfway. Plus I have crazy shedding dogs. This picks up their fur very well. What I've noticed about Dyson vacuums is how well they've been engineered. This vacuum is simple and conplex at the same time. It is easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store. It's very easy to figure out where things belong on the Dyson like the attachments that this vacuum comes with. It's convenient that you can just click it right on the side of the body so that they are ready and available for use. It's also great that you can turn on or off the brush for when you're vacuuming tile or carpet. Overall, this is one well engineered machine. I recommend this to anyone looking for a simple and easy to use vacuum with powerful suction. Also, it comes with 5 years manufacturers warranty. How great is that?

I "invested" in one of the original Dyson vacuums back in like '03, and after a dozen years, some of the plastic bits were starting to crack from age, our housekeeper had managed to break the tab that held the bottom of the canister on (because when you can't figure out, of course you force it... sigh). However, it was an awesome vacuum, and did really well with my very long hair, cat hair, and my propensity to only vacuum once a month or so. ;) So, we looked into getting a new one. Wife's major complaint with the old Dyson was weight, but that wasn't a horribly big deal (we have a multi-level place, so carrying it up and down is a bit of a pain, but not bad). Consumer Reports didn't like the Dysons as much as some others, but when we looked at those, they all seemed heavier, or less capable, or whatever. They also said the bag-based vacuums were better, but I could never figure that out -- we fill the canister *constantly*, so using bags would be SUCH a hassle, not to mention ongoing expense. So we went with what we knew, although I wasn't particularly convinced about the "ball" design. Well, I wasn't disappointed! Thing sucks (in a good way) like a champ, the ball is easy to use (with a few minutes to get used to it). Works on hardwood better than I expected (I expected the ball design to slide too much). Vacuumed a single room and filled the canister (definitely glad we didn't go with a bag!) It will take a lot of convincing to get me to switch away from Dyson in the future!

Dyson. One man, with a dream, to completely revolutionize the Vacuum industry. His company had on main slogan. Fix the problems the others seem to ignore. Now this hadn't always meant they did so. Many times they made there own problems. Many years of vacuum cleaners that seemed to only preform so-so. But now, all the pieces have come together. This new Dyson ball multifloor vacuum has everything necessary to make a great vacuum . Materials and Build quality; At first, this vacuum seamed very cheap. All the plastics creaked and flexed to much. But i later learned that was all part of the design. The Vacuum is made out of the same material that riot shields are made of. Plus a 5 year warranty on all parts is a huge bonus. Suction and airflow: With no bag to restrict air moment this vacuum really sucks. ( in a good way). An abundance of airflow truly can clean up any mess. Throughly cleaning carpets like the machines of the 50s and 60. Filtration: After using this machine for a month now, the pre motor filter is spotless. Almost all the dust is captured by this vacuum cleaners excellent cyclonic technology. And a HEPA post motor filter means the air that comes out of the machine is pure and fresh. Perfect for homes with pets or people with allergies. Carpet performance Dysons have always had awful brush rolls. Cheap plastic brushes that barely did a thing. Now however, this vacuum agitates the carpet violently. Thats a good thing for getting all that dirt and grit that you may not see. Don't be surprised if this bin fills up quick the first time you use it. Cons: No hight adjustment No suction control some awkward to use attachments. Conclusion; Overall , this is one of the best , if not the best vacuum on the market today. DONT PICK THE HIGHER TRIM ANIMAL VACUUM UNLESS YOU NEED THE EXTRA TOOLS. THE VACUUMS OTHER THAN A PURPLE COLOR ARE THE SAME.

I previously owned a shark for 2 years and really liked it. The only downside was that I had to change and wash the filter constantly and the suction was never that great. This Dyson is AWESOME! It has 5x the suction that my shark had and it gets the carpet so much cleaner. Now instead of going over the same spot multiple times hoping that it got clean I can do one pass with this vacuum and its gets it clean the first time. Now I can vacuum the whole house in the same amount of time it took the shark to vacuum one room. Never going back to shark. I am absolutely sold on the Dyson vacuum's for life.

Great vacuum, easy to put together but I had to replace it within 2 weeks because one of the wheels was squeeking. Called Dyson and they provided me with options. It was easy, no hassle, to go back to Best Buy and swap it out! Other than that, this product is awesome! Comes with attachments as well which I have used. Works great, worth the money! Dyson customer care is easy to get in touch with as well.
