This is a great vaccum! It does a great job picking up dirt. I am amazed by the dirt it picks up that you do not see. The attachments work well. It is easy to empty and the filters are easy to clean. It is a relatively expensive but worth it for what how it performs.

We have had many vacuum cleaners. We spent over $1000 on our last one. When it broke we tried the Dyson. Amazing. Easy to handle, easy to clean. No filters needed. Light weight, convenient implements. Dyson has our vote. Best $300 we ever spent. It makes vacuuming almost seem like fun.

It's lightness is ideally surprising. It's strong suction power makes you think twice but it's performance it's awesome. Easy to roll around in the house, clean every corner and aisle. It's accessories help you reach before unreachable places. Glad to have it.

We have had vaccumes that lose suction very easily. We have always wanted a dyson. When our last vaccume died my husband and I decided that is was time to get a dyson. I have never used a vaccume that is so easy to use. It moves so smoothly. I love that I can go from carpet the hardwood floors and back to the carpet without having to stop and change the floor setting. The ball makes it so easy to move and I love how I never lose suction. We love our dyson and highly recommend it to anyone

It is amazing the amount of dirt that this vacuum picks up. It was so easy to put together. It is easy to use and empty the tank. The vacuum is a little loud, but it doesn't matter to me, because of how well it works.

Bought this as a house warming gift for my sister. She absolutely loves it. Says it is very easy to maneuver around, feels light and has a lot of suction power.

I've never really wanted to spend the huge amount of money that a Dyson costs, but the Best Buy salesman showed me this very reasonably priced model and I decided to give it a try! It was extremely easy to put together and it works amazingly well! It goes around corners excellently, vacuums up lots of stuff that my old vacuum didn't even pick up, and it moves easily from carpet to tile. About the only thing that it's missing is a light. Though I had it on my previous vacuum and thought that I would really miss it, it actually hasn't been that much of deal to me with the Dyson after all!

For the cost compared to other machines I thought this thing is ridiculously expensive. I got sick of my wife complaining about her old upright so I caved in and bought this on sale. I was determined to put this thing to the test and prove her wrong but instead I got schooled. I vacuumed everything with our old vacuum with a brand new bag. I went slow and let it suck all it could, then turned 90 degrees and did it again. Then I put the Dyson to the test. I wasnt so careful with it and just shoved it around, positive the canister would not even have dust in it when done. I had the "I told you so" speech all prepared but this little vacuum sucked up a full canister just in our living room. Not only that, its quiet and really easy to use. That ridiculous looking ball is actually genius. The whole thing is brilliantly engineered and a joy to use. Plus, it works far better than any other vacuum we have owned. It pulled up so much dust and lint I'm disgusted with what I thought was clean carpet. Were thinking of switching to hardwood. The vacuum is incredible, the crow I ate still tastes bad, but it was definitely worth every penny.

We have had a earlier model for 3 or 4 years, so I decided to get this for my mother for x-mas. It is light to take up and down stairs and has both carpet and hardwood floor settings. It cleans well and is easy to push around. More powerful than their battery models (we got one of those for the dining room when my son was small) which are also nice.

I've been wanting to get a Dyson for a long time now, but never needed a vacuum until the recent unfortunate event of both Grandparents passing away. The fifteen years of living in their home, they always had some species of animal. Their last creature, was a Great Pyrenees. While they are wonderful animals, man the dander can build up. At first I thought about getting a pet vacuum just for the sake of the name, but I decided to invest in a Dyson. I'm so happy I went that route. It sucks...but in the best way imaginable haha. I love how you can switch from carpet to hard flooring with just a press of a button. The clean up is easy, just empty the canister and it moves effortlessly. Props to the guys at Dyson.

I have had a myriad of awful vacuums and I finally decided to splurge and buy a Dyson. I am so glad I did. I have 2 cats and this vacuum cleans up everything they leave behind. The carpets are thoroughly cleaned with this easy to manuveur vacuum. I also vacuum my furniture with it using the accessories it came with and it leaves them pet hair free and cleaner than I have ever been able to get them using alternative pet hair removal methods. It was such a great investment and I am so happy I finally bought a Dyson! It saves me so much time and worry!

I vacuum more now than ever because it's so easy. Going from wood floors to thick carpet is effortless and the vacuum cleans incredibly; I can't believe how much it picks up.

I have always bought vacuums that were $100 or less, and after my last one, a Hoover, broke, I decided to purchase this vacuum. The only complaint, (it's a small one), is when using the hose with the attachments it seems like you are fighting the vacuum for the hose & sometimes find myself having to stretch the hose over the top of my shoulder just to keep it extended. If this were fixed, it would be a perfect vacuum. It is easy to control, and I love how you can turn brush on and off, to use on bare floors. This vacuum really got my rugs clean, we have pets and kids, so this did a nice job with those messes. Happy with purchase.

This is my second Dyson vacuum. The first one lasted 5 years, which is longer than most vacuums have lasted. This machine has a lot of power is a little smaller, so not as heavy, and it maneuvers well. The bagless system is great, and it is easy to empty the canister. My only wish for improvement is a longer cord. For larger areas, you'll have to plug the cord into another outlet. It is hard to beat a Dyson vacuum, even on the lower end models. It gets a thumbs up!

After looking at these for years, I purchased one for my in-laws. The vacuum is fantastic as far as picking up a messy floor or carpet. My issue that I'm not thrilled with is that it truly is made with flimsy plastic for pieces that you'd use each time you empty the machine. I'd read it before purchasing but thought for this kind of money, I doubt that's the case. I was incorrect. It can be broken so easily. I'm worried with the poor eyesight of my in-laws, these parts may indeed be snapped plastic soon. In addition, it's a little clunky for an elderly person to use. (talking 70's and 80's) I love the ball and how it maneuvers everywhere but for an older person, it would be nice if it had a little better balance to it. That being said, I would truly purchase one for myself and plan to as soon as I have the cash. It does a wonderful job but I think it's like a princess and you need to use some kid gloves with it.

I have an older Dyson model, but I really like my new one better. It is easy to maneuver, light weight and still has a powerful suction.

We had a Dyson in the past and loved it but it’s been years and decided to upgrade with this model. This thing sucks in a good way. We were pulling stuff up out of the carpet you couldn’t see nor did our older Dyson pick up. This model did seem to be a bit louder than our previous model but it didn’t bother me when I saw how well it did with it’s suction. I would highly recommend this vacuum and it’s an even better deal when it goes on sale. Ignore the negative reviews.

I've owned several vacuums (Eureka, Hoover etc) always settling for a cheaper one until I finally decided to spend the money and get a Dyson. My friends and family with Dysons all love theirs. It helped that this was on sale but still pretty expensive compared to other bagless vacuums. Overall, it was worth it. The vacuum moves nimbly for a heavy vacuum. It sucks trash up like it is supposed to and it is easy to empty out. There are many attachments but not too much that you start losing pieces like some other vacuums. Is it really that much better than cheaper vacuums? I don't think so but so far it is still going strong. Maybe after a couple of years I will see if really worth it. The problem with the cheap vacuums is I've had to replace them almost every other year, some even earlier that that. I use this Dyson on carpet and laminate flooring. In the end, I am glad I purchased and hope it lasts longer than my other vacuums.

I took over the vacuuming when my wife's back could no longer handle pushing our Kenmore across carpets. The Kenmore had been good but she wanted something she could do herself. We researched a lot of vacuums and chose this Dyson model. She loves it! Easy to push and gets up an astonishing amount of dirt. That being said, I graciously turned the vacuuming back over to her. She's happy. I'm happy.

I've had a dyson for ten years. I bought this one to have up stairs. I love the weight, the suction and ease of using.
