For years I have put off buying a Dyson because of the hefty price tag. But after a move into a new house and a need for a new vacuum, I caved...and was it worth it! This thing sucks up way more dirt than any previous vacuum I had and it is smooth to push around and so quiet compared to other vacuums. Go ahead and get rid of your old vacuum and switch to Dyson. I look at this vacuum as an investment that I will not have to replace for years and am very happy with my purchase!

After a disappointing 6 months with my last vacuum, I decided to try out the super premium Dyson vacuums! All I can is wow, just buy it! My carpet has never looked this clean! I love how easy it is to use and empty. I would also Recommend the Zorb Dyson powder! Really gives the carpet a fresh scent.

Would just like to say that I love this vacuum. I will say it's a bit loud and sort of heavy but it's worth it. The ball that allows the vacuum to turn on a dime is great. The add on wand is great for reaching hi and lows, under couches and hard to reach areas. The power cord is also very long, so no having to unplug as often from room to room. Highly recommended

This machine is truly quality. I thought because it's construction build is plastic-y looking that it wouldn't perform but believe me you, it will suck your carpet clean. Best vaccuum I've ever owned or used. Leave the floor and carpet/rugs looking fresh, clean and brand new again. I love the most those crisp lines of cleanliness that are left on the rugs after it sucks all the dirt out. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Beats anything else.

Easy to unload the waist although the clear canister looks grungy afterwards but important to see when filled. Takes a bit to get used to the ball action. Great vacuum for larger areas but in a more cluttered room its a bit bulky to get around and especially difficult to get under furniture. So I still do tend to go for my small and less powerful drag along canister vacuum. The Dyson's long cord gets me into more rooms without rre-plugging. Great on carpets for sucking up the dirt and I feel better knowing dust isn't blowing back into my house.

I hesitated to buy a Dyson, thinking it was overpriced and overrated, but I was wrong. This thing sucks everything out of my carpets, including wads of dog hairs from our Border Collie. It's made a huge difference, and it's so light-weight and easy to remove the canister. I'm short --5'2 and a woman--and I find this vacuum perfect for my lifestyle. The only thing I don't like is the hideous orange and purple color combination.

I had an old Dyson that I wanted to replace and tried to find something cheaper or comparable. After a few months of failing to find something else, I came back to Dyson. There is no comparison. I have bad allergies and daughter has asthma. This vacuum sucks up anything you have trapped in your carpets or floors and is truly an edge-to-edge clean. The model is very similar to the animal just doesn't come with all the attachments and I believe the head is slightly different. Imthis vacuum traps dust and small particles very well and don't have any issues of it coming back out the vacuum. Based on research, I tried the Bissell CleanView 9596 and new Hoover React vacuums based on being great for allergy sufferers. The Hoover React was great at trapping allergens and getting dirt. The floor auto sense and the hose with lift away canister is what piqued my interest over getting another Dyson (and it being half the price tags of a new Dyson). The floor auto sense would keep switching back to hard floor even though my whole house is carpet except the kitchen and bathroom. It was a pain and I didn't even take advantage of the Bluetooth app. And the hose and lift away canister was just as bad. The hose does not extend enough for me and the idea of lifting the canister everytime I want to get behind the couch or on top of my tall book shelves was a deal breaker. The Bissell still blew out allergens and I was constantly sneezing and stuffed up while vacuuming - it did great vacuuming though. But they were no match to the Dyson. I tried different ways to match the 3 and each time, Dyson won. The canister is huge. The cord is long. The hose on the Dyson is long and flexible - can reach from ceiling to behind furniture and in between. It even fits all my attachments I've had from the previous Dyson so I saved even more there. When I saw this vacuum for half the price as a deal of the day, I jumped right on and have no regrets! Don't wait or think twice! It's worth the investment and you'll breathe and feel better too! :)

After my last vacuum cleaner lost all of it's suction I was tired of buying cheap vacuums that didn't work. This thing is fantastic! I have a bird that makes all kinds of messes and it picks bird feathers and everything she throws out of her cage. It was super easy to put together and it is easy to use. No bags and dust doesn't fly everywhere when I dump out the dust. I'm a Dyson fan now.

I could not be happier with this vacuum! I I purchased this about three weeks ago. I also come from a family that has always used Oreck vacuums but after reading many personal reviews whether it be on this site or through friends and family members, I decided to go with this product. I can't tell you how happy I am! I consider myself an absolute clean freak, and after one initial sweep/vacuum of the family room rug I could not believe how much it picked up! This vacuum is definitely 100% recommended! As a sidenote, I do have a dog Who is short haired yet it picked up so much of his fur and I am now dancing in my kitchen because I am so extremely happy with this product! Side note - my number one concern with all vacuums is the weight of it… This vacuum is perfect for me to carry up and down the stairs without a concern (I weight 120-ish). This is a definite yes if you are considering buying this product! Love it!

This the best purchase I made this year. The ball moves around the house effortlessly and leaves the room spotless. Getting around corners and objects is so easy you'll think why didn't someone this of this earlier. No more back and forth to get around things, or to suck up certain debris. One pass with this vacuum and you'll notice the Dyson Difference.

This is the vacuum to get if you are not sold on the bagless systems as I was. The simple way that this vacuum provides to empty its container is made me a believer. The sale price on this unit was also excellent as is the vacuum. I was surprised at the weight of the box since its body is mostly plastic. The unit works great, it glides on the floor better than the self-propelled unit it replaces (well, that one was 23 years old...), using the accessories is very different than the traditional vacuum, as the hose and extensions are literally part of the handle. This one is a keeper.

Our new Dyson Vacuum Cleaner seems to work much better than our two previous vacuums (Eureka & Hoover). The Dyson is much lighter and maneuvers better than the standard up-right vacuums not to mention it really does have better suction. We have only had it about 2 months and the only improvement that should be made is to have a longer electrical cord.

The vacuum has a super strong sucking action and even though I thought my floors were clean, it proved me wrong. The hose to put attachments on can be rigid without giving me easily the amount of hose I need to do the job, but that's my only complaint. Ranked very high in Consumer Reports. Easy to operate, and I love the auto adjustment for floors, carpets, etc. So much easier. The bagless disposal is nice with the bottom drop into the trash.

This is my 2nd Dyson. My first one was an Animal Dyson and I used it several times a week for years. The Dyson Ball took some practice. Once I realized I just needed to tilt the handle off it went. Works great on carpet and floors. Also gets very close to edges and the suction is awesome. I'm very happy with my new Dyson.

The product performed above my expectations in the multi floor environment of the home. It does not scatter pet hair across the flooring as does other vacuums. Although somewhat louder than the previous vacuum (different brand) it is tolerable during use.

This was on sale for deal of the day when i bought it. Wanted to changed it up a bit in terms of vacuuming my place. It does what others can't do and it is true. It picked up alot of dirt and left over debris that i did not see on the carpet. First the assembly was a little complicated but after looking at the instructions it was simple as turning on the microwave. But as soon as everything was put together i was trying to figure out how to get the head down after powering it up. Found out that you have to put pressure on top handle for the hind legs to fall down and the head to come down so it can be in vacuum mode to pick up stuff. I give it 4 stars would had been 4.5 stars but I didnt like the fact you have to put pressure on top for it release the hind legs down and to vacuum from there. I wished there was a release lever made there behind the vacuum where u can just push it down with your foot. Overall, i am impressed with the suction power and it does well when turning. It light when pushing and pulling but heavy when lifting upward to carry. Some parts i feel like its cheaply made but the engineering design that goes into this expensive vacuum is really impressive. And i hope to keep using Dyson vacuum for the next 10 years to go. It is a bit pricey even when it was deal of the day but for half off, and needed a powered vacuum that gets the job done. This was the one.

It seems as though everything is being trimmed to a lighter, thinner product these days. This does have a very good cleaning ability and strong suction, however, it is not as sturdy nor as solid as earlier Dyson models were made. I guess that is how it goes. I do like this, it is flexible, versatile, and moves well. Light to transport and easy to use. The attachments are a bit complex tho. Overall, I am happy to have this and use it.

This is my first Dyson, I was skeptical before buying it, after going thru some reviews and videos, I decided to give it a go. Delivery was quick, easy to put together as I followed a YouTube video. The vacuum isn’t particular quiet or loud, suction is good, picked up lots of residue from the carpet the first time I used it. I am impressed by the cat hair it picked up, especially the ones got wedged between the carpet and baseboards. The extension wand is useful although I’m still trying to get used to it since it is very retractable. Emptying the dust is easy, and makes sure you do it inside a bag or container as fine dust can fly. I’m overall happy with it, I know there are many choices when it comes to vacuum, and I hope this review can help you showhat narrow them down a little.

This is a great vacuum cleaner for any house. I have used Shark and other major products in market but this one is par excellence. The power is so much that you dont have to repeat it again and again. Very easy to clean and comes with a long cord. Easy to move as well. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
