Powerful handvac, slightly pricy but you get what you pay for.

By far and away the best and most useful vacuum I’ve ever used. My dog gets hair everywhere and because it is so fine, it goes into my couch material like needles. This vacuum gets everything and does it super quickly. Been a GAME CHANGER.

After reading so many great reviews on this machine, I decided to take the plunge and purchase one. This is my 1st Dyson vacuum I have owned and I am beyond disappointed. On a full charge, I am getting 5 to 8 minutes of use (and that is not even continuous use through that time) when it is on the max setting. Out of the box, brand new this is all I have been able to get for time to use this vacuum before it needs a 5 hour recharge. Buyer’s remorse doesn’t even describe how I feel about this purchase. I honestly feel like a fool; 5 hour charge for 5 minutes of use shouldn’t even be allowed to be sold as a cordless vacuum. It’s so bad that I convinced myself that someone must have swapped out the battery piece and put there used one on the machine and sealed the box back up and returned it. I just spent $330 with tax and the website basically states you may need a new battery and wants me to pay $130 for a new battery before tax. Highway robbery! And what if that’s the best this vacuum can do with these batteries, then I will have $500 sunk into this machine and a unit that works for 5 minutes. I get that battery power will be used faster on the max setting, and run time will be reduced, but 12 to 15% of the 40 minute time they claim that it will last on the low setting which frankly is just not powerful enough for doing a good efficient job at vacuuming has me pretty upset right now. How did they ever think this would be ok and at this price point? Stay far away, don’t get sucked in to the good reviews, this is an honest review of my experience and I hope it helps others to go a different direction if they are looking to purchase a handheld cordless vacuum.

Great product! Only complaint is battery life, other than that…AMAZING!

We replaced our old Dyson DC5 with this, and couldn't be happier! THis runs considerably quieter, and the battery lasts MUCH longer. And, we love the fact that they kept the turbo mode.
