    Dyson second to none!

The Dyson PC1 comes almost ready to go out of the box, just a few pieces of tape to remove and snap the filter on. I downloaded the app and paired the fan with my phone as well as my google assistant. Just telling goggle to run the fan on and off is a plus, especially when I add it to my daytime and nighttime routine with lights, Tv and sound bar. The included remote is for the minimalist. The remote includes on/off, oscillating, nighttime mode, fan speed, info and auto (fan speed is determined by particulates in the air) The Hepa air filter pull an amazing 99.95% of air contaminates (as small as .1 microns). Great for allergy sufferers. We live in the southwest, desert type atmosphere, lots of dust especially when the monsoons roll in. I see and feel a noticeable difference in our air quality in our living room. You can actually see the particulate level on the screen go up and down as more or less are in the room. When we use the fan on high there is a slight difference in our room temp. It does feel cooler which helps, especially when we had daily temps of 110 plus!! Operational noise is acceptable, it does not drown out the tv or conversations. I love the option to oscillate in any direction without having to reposition the fan. This can be easily accomplished on the app. I would recommend the PC1 to friends and family.

Big Improvement to My Room’s Air Quality and Temp!

Dyson is one of the premiere names in home cleaning and purification, and their new PC1 purifier has been a big improvement to my room its in! PROS: - Design wise, this really is a nicely made purifier. It looks high tech and the silver + white combo looks very modern as well. When you put it in your room it’s a mix of a nice accent piece while also being something that works discreetly. - Setup is super easy because the Dyson app really is a huge part of why this purifier is great. You can access your purifier from the app via WiFi at all times and make changes like how strong it blows the air, if it rotates at all, how wide the rotation is, and even set up a daily schedule. - As far as performance, simply put there is a noticeable difference in air quality and temperature in the room this is in vs a room it’s not in. The air smells crisp and clean, the air thats pushed through feels cool, and overall does exactly what I need it to do. You can set it to “monitoring” mode where it will raise and lower its power based on the air quality that it detects in the room, or you can keep it at a steady rate all day if you want to on your own or via a schedule. - It also has a remote that is easy to use and nice to have when you don’t want to use the app for control. - The little screen on the front is an easy indicator to show how the room is doing as well without needing to check the app. - Finally, It also integrates with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, or “Siri’s Shortcuts” which makes for easy home control! CONS: - This fan is packed full of tech but yet it won’t tell me what the temperature of the room its in - Although the app is really nice, I would like to see a few more usability features added - Although it work’s with Siri on your phone, I wish it integrated with Apple HomeKit. BOTTOM LINE: - The Dyson PC1 has made a big improvement in my room’s air quality and temperature. It’s backed by a super easy to use app that makes me be able to control the purifier wherever I am and even set up a daily automated schedule. And of course, there is just a huge difference in the freshness of the air in the rooms I use it in vs the rooms I do not. This has been a great upgrade to our home and I think a lot of people are going to like using this!

    Cooler Air and Fewer Allergies

The Dyson Cool Purifier PC1 has been a welcome addition to our home, especially with allergy season in full swing and a heat wave on top of it. Since adding it to our home, the difference in air quality has been hard to ignore. The air feels cleaner and fresher, and I’ve had noticeably fewer allergy symptoms: less sneezing, fewer itchy eyes, and no waking up congested. It’s been a real relief during peak pollen season. Beyond filtering out allergens, the PC1 also pulls double duty as a cooling fan, and it’s been keeping our bedroom comfortably cool even during this recent stretch of hot, humid days. The airflow is surprisingly powerful for something so quiet. It moves a lot of air without the loud whoosh you get from traditional fans, which makes it great for use at night or while working. One of the standout features is how simple everything is to use. Setup was a breeze, and the filter is easy to swap out. The compact remote control is another thoughtful touch. It’s magnetized and sticks right to the top of the unit, so it doesn’t disappear into the couch cushions or get lost in a drawer. The built-in display that shows current air quality in real time is also a great feature. It’s reassuring to glance over and see the purifier doing its job, especially when outdoor conditions are rough. We also had a stretch of poor outdoor air quality recently due to wildfire smoke, and the PC1 made a noticeable difference then too. We kept the windows shut and let the purifier run, and it helped the room stay cool and the air feel breathable. All in all, the Dyson Cool Purifier PC1 has been a reliable, well-designed solution for both air quality and comfort. It’s not the cheapest option out there, but if you deal with allergies, heat, or poor air days, it’s one of those purchases that quickly starts to feel worth it.

The Dyson Purifier Cool PC1 features an all-in-one design, combining air purifying and cooling technology. Pros: Ease of use Mobile App Functionality Real-time alerts Cons: Noisy Fan Not as "cool" Unboxing the Dyson Purifier Cool PC1 was a breeze (quite literally). There is absolutely nothing to assemble; pull it out of the box, plug it in, and go. Once plugged in, I turned on the fan, downloaded (per the instructions) the Dyson app, paired the PC1 with the app, and I played with the control settings. I have to give credit to Dyson and their ease-of-use app, along with setting controls including oscillating (from 45 degrees to 360 degrees), Fan settings, and alert/air quality information. The mobile app (if you do not want to hold onto the remote) allows you to control all of the settings for the fan. Due to the remote size (and the ability to lose the remote), using your phone app is recommended. Several settings, including powering on the unit, setting timers (to turn on and off the unit), and airflow (fan speeds), are typical with these units. However, I was surprised to find not only real-time air quality alerts under the "Data and Insights" tab within the app, but also oscillation settings. Additionally, upon setup, you may control PC1 with WiFi (even if you are not near the unit). I found this useful when I was at work, but I wanted to turn on the PC1 before I arrived home from work. Oh, and I did appreciate the opportunity to apply a timer (I did not need the fan to run all night) through the app, too. As I tested it, the timer function worked flawlessly. One of the highlights of the PC1 and the Dyson app, congruently, is the real-time air quality alerts. If the air quality in your home rises, for instance, from "good" to "average," you will receive a pop-up notification on your phone. This was useful as I was cooking at home, and the house became smoky inside. All I did was turn up the fan setting (airflow) to the highest setting to help control the airflow. Within thirty minutes, I viewed (from the app) that the air quality in my home became "cleaner." Additionally, I was happy to see that under the "Data and insights" tab, the PM2.5 and PM10 were explained so that I understood the different types of allergens and pollutants in the air inside my home (along with the levels, etc.) Again, I recommend the app over using the provided remote. Yes, there is a small LCD that provides some level of "air quality" on a chart-like scale. However, for a more in-depth chart, the app displays a larger version of the chart, and the app explains what is actually going on inside the room in further detail. There are a couple of drawbacks I have found with the Dyson Purifier Cool PC1. First, the fan became increasingly "noisy" the louder days after use. After a week, if I set the fan control setting to anything over 6, the fan became quite loud. Additionally, at night when the PC1 is running, it's difficult to sleep through the noise (especially if you are a light sleeper). The mid-point for less noise is at the fifth setting. Any higher than that, and you trade off comfort for noise level. Lastly, the technology of the PC1 advertises "cooling" technology. This is true to a degree. After all, this is just a "fan" built into the purifier. With use, depending on how warm it is inside your home or cool, the PC1 can deliver recycled "cool" or warm air. Again, it all depends on the temperature inside the room where the PC1 is located; this has nothing to do with the unit physically "cooling" the space you are in. The PC1 can cool/purify a space up to 100 sq ft, so please keep that in mind when setting it up in your room(s). Overall, the Dyson Purifier Cool PC1 delivers both "cooling" and purifying technology. The app is functional, easy to use, control, and understand. Real-time alerts are excellent (when used in conjunction with the app), and Dyson has provided excellent resources within the app to help you understand the pollutant levels in your home and the air quality. Where the PC1 faults, though, is the loud built-in fan. However, the PC1 paired with the app provides harmonious air quality, understanding, and comfort (with just a little bit of noise).

Breathe Easy With Dyson's Powerful And Smart PC1

The Dyson Purifier Cool PC1 is another solid device from Dyson. I love the design, the build quality, the app controls and features, and the great air that comes out. This is a solid fan with an air purifier built in. The PC1 comes with a ton of features and Dyson’s patented device polish. Replacement filters can be a bit pricey and Amazon Alexa integration was a bit glitchy during my testing, but beyond that, this is an excellent home purifier. Unboxing: Opening the box, you are greeted with the sleek Dyson PC1 fan/purifier and a handy remote control that magnetically attaches to the top of the fan. It is a small touch, but it adds to the overall convenience and elegance of the device. Experience: The PC1 delivers a cool breeze without the usual noise of traditional tower fans, making it perfect for a peaceful environment. With a customizable swivel of up to 350 degrees, you can direct the airflow exactly where you need it. Personally, I find a 45-degree setup ideal for efficiently circulating air from the corner of the room. The HEPA filter is a “breeze” to access and replace, ensuring that your air stays clean and fresh. My only gripe is the cost of replacement filters, which can be a bit steep. One of the standout features of the PC1 is its smart home integration. Controlling the fan through Google Home was a seamless experience, and the native app support is top-notch. However, the Alexa plugin was a bit glitchy during my tests, but I am hopeful that future updates will iron out these issues. Conclusion: The Dyson PC1 is a top-tier fan and purifier. It is quiet, well-integrated with smart home systems, and built with exceptional quality. This polished device is a must-have for beating the summer heat. I give it a solid 4.5/5.

There’s something about Dyson products that catch your eye. Futuristic, cool, whatever you want to call it, Dyson has a knack for making products that you want to have. I remember years ago seeing a Dyson fan that looked a lot like the PC1, with its oval opening and no fan in site, but still blowing air out at high volumes. It was a pricey piece back then, but man I wanted one. Fast forward a few years, and Dyson has taken that same design and made an air purifier out of it. The PC1 is programmable via the app to turn on/off when you want it to, to work in auto based on air quality, and to oscillate or point in whatever direction you want it to. The app works great for allowing you to control and view the PC1, including from across the country if you really wanted to. A small display on the PC1 itself also gives real-time information about air quality and status. In use, the PC1 acts just like I’d expect it to: Smooth and without issue. I have mine come on at 6 in the morning and oscillate at speed 2 until 10 PM at night. I live in Vegas and have a cat, so dust and cat dander is just something I’ve learned to live with. The Dyson PC1 helps cut down on both issues, and I am very pleased with how it looks and operates.

When it comes to small appliances, like vacuum cleaners, fans, air purifiers etc Dyson cannot be beat. Dyson’s newest product called Cool Purifier PC1 is no exception. I wont bore you with specs and information you can find on this website or on the box itself. Instead, I’ll give you my real world experience with this product. The first thing you should do is download the app if you like. It’s not mandatory, but If you have the app you can control the purifier settings on your smartphone, get tips and date info. Controlling my air purifier with it’s included remote control is good enough for me. I chose to set my purifier in my bedroom and have it on at night. There is a night mode and at its lowest setting the motor/fan is whisper quit. It is not completely silent, but it’s as low as a device like this can get. It does not disturb me whatsoever. There’s different speed settings, it can go 1-10. It features a Hepa H13 filter with activated carbon, the carbon eliminates smells while the Hepa filter traps dust and particles. One of the biggest features is that this purifier is that it also doubles as a fan so it’ll cool down any room, especially if you live in hot places.

I needed a fan for our home office. I wanted it to not take up too much room and not be noisy or distracting. At only 8.75” in diameter at the base it fits in a small space. It moves a fair amount of air even on the lower settings and if you’re on around setting 5 or less it’s not noisy. Setting it up around 8, 9 or especially 10 it can get loud. Using a decibel meter app on my phone and holding it about a foot in front of the fan, I was reading about 42 db on setting 5 and about 60 db on setting 10. I noticed there’s no adjustment for vertical tilt of the fan but honestly, at 41.5” tall it’s sized to cool you head to toe when you’re in a seated position so tilt really isn’t needed. It does have a supremely adjustable oscillation through the app, there’s a graphic in the app indicating where the cord comes out and you can set the oscillation to 45, 90, 180, or 350 degrees and also dial in the coverage. I’ll add a screenshot from the app, a photo might explain that better. Airflow through the device is smooth more like your HVAC system with no buffeting like a conventional bladed fan can do. We use high velocity fans at work and the buffeting doesn’t really bother me except I don’t like them blowing on my face. This fan doesn’t bother me. It does have a timer, you can select from 15, 30, 45 min or up to 9 hours in one hour increments. It has two filter elements in the base, there’s a single latch that releases them for maintenance when it’s needed. The app shows you how much filter life is remaining and will alert you when it’s time to change them. Air data- through the app it gives you an idea of the particles in your air, dust, pet dander, allergens, etc. The fan needs to run to collect data before it can generate the graph, turning the setting on to continuously collect data can provide a better look at your air quality. We’re in the middle of a heat wave here, with the house closed up and the AC on I’m only seeing readings in the 1-2 micrograms per cubic meter range so far. It includes a small remote control, aim it at the little round screen on the fan and it works from easily 20+ feet away. There’s no onboard storage for the remote but it runs so smooth I just lay it where it says “air multiplier technology” inside the fan. The remote is curved the same as the fan so it’s like they meant for it to be there. It’s an unusual looking fan with no conventional blade. I can see where it might be safer around kids and pets.

I purchased this after re-modeling and fresh paint throughout. My thermostat was showing unhealthy air quality from all the dust and paint that was not improving even with all the windows open. After powering this Dyson up for a day and a half, the readings quickly went from poor to fair to good quality levels. I recommend!

Having used Dyson fans in the past, I was excited to try the new Dyson Cool Purifier PC1. After spending some time with it, I can say that this is one awesome fan that I will enjoy using on a daily basis! The first thing you'll interact with is the packaging, and it's done well, keeping the PC1 safe, while also being easy to unbox. There’s really not too much to keep track of, just the unit, remote, and some paperwork. The remote is standard Dyson fare, and that is not a bad thing in the slightest. The small remote attaches magnetically to the top of the fan and is laid out simply enough that it's easy to tell what every button does. You can control features such as fan speed, rotation, and set a timer, adding to the device's functionality. One new feature is the inclusion of a Dyson app to supplement the fan's controls. The app was easy to set up, although you will need the serial number on the bottom of the unit, which can be a bit awkward to get. Once you're set up, the app acts as another remote, and also gives you real-time data related to the air quality and the air purifier. While I don’t have a good way to test how well the purifier works, there is a colored graph on the fan’s display that relates to the measurement of air quality. In the app, you can see that air quality goes from “Good” all the way to “Severe.” So far everyday my fan has registered “Good” quality air, with low levels of PM2.5 (microscopic particles less than 2.5 microns) and low levels of PM10 (microscopic particles less than 10 microns) – as a side note, low levels are indicated by a rating of “Good” (green) all the way to “Severe” (purple). So the higher on the graph you go, the worse the air quality gets. The purifier air filter comes preinstalled, and looks pretty easy to swap out. I opened the fan after unboxing it to check, and it is very easy to access the filter when it comes time for a new one. As for the fan itself, the Dyson Cool Purifier PC1 can move an amazing amount of air – quietly! – with 10 different fan speeds to choose from. My room is upstairs and can get a bit warm in the summer months, so I have absolutely loved using this fan every night when I go to bed. Even if I set the fan at a high speed, like in the 8-10 range, the noise is minimal enough that I have no trouble going to sleep. I also love that I can change the settings from my phone app, meaning that I don't have to get out of bed and grab the remote, if I don't want to. Like every Dyson I've used before it, the air comes out forcefully, smoothly, and is perfect for a reasonably sized room. I really don’t have anything negative to say about the Dyson Cool Purifier PC1. Usually, I don’t like downloading supplemental apps for devices, but in this case, it truly adds to the user experience. Additionally, you can set your fan to constantly monitor the air quality of the environment that it’s in, even when the unit is turned off. I’ve always loved using Dyson fans in my home, and now I’ve been able to spend time with the newest generation that includes air purification and app functionality. The Dyson Cool Purifier PC1 is an incredible piece of technology that should be at the top of your list if you're looking for the perfect in-home fan!
