So expensive for it not to remain charged to use wirelessly. Even when plugged directly to the cord, battery life still drains

The flat iron is ok, not the best. Battery doesn’t last long even if it’s charging.

I’ve owned many straighteners. So far this is my favorite. I like that’s it’s cordless but you can also plug it in if you forget to charge it. My hair is always shiny after I use it.

Made points with the wife...she loves it can be used plugged in or battery only. Straightens her hair in less time and doesn't damage it like her curling iron. It gets to temperature really fast.

Heats up amazingly fast, a little disappointed that the battery doesn’t last long. Only lasted two days of 10 minutes each before needing recharge

I love my Dyson córrale. I’m a hairstylist and this is so easy to use without the cord. The only downside is the battery does not last to straighten a full head of hair.

I own many Dyson products and have been happy with my air wrap or vacuum cleaners, so the expectation of this product was high. Unfortunately, after using for a few months I just continually feel disappointed. The battery life is horrible and you have to recharge after 2 uses, so I cannot take the product on a work trip alone and have to carry a big bulky charger. In addition, it is hard to turn on - after I press the on button I then have to press the + at least 20x to start the heating process. The iron itself works ok but it’s definitely not better than my $200 one from HSI. For the price and Dyson name, I would expect a product to work and work well. Unfortunately, this was a waste of money and I will be using my other flat iron instead. My other regret is that it is too late to return and get a refund.

I love everything Dyson so lets get that out of the way - I bought this for my wife for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. The only drawback is she has long hair and it can take her over an hour to straighten it - so the battery doesn't make it all the way through the job. She has learned that she can just attach the power cord when the battery is getting low to finish. Would have been 5 stars if the battery laster longer but overall an excellent hair straightner

I personally didn’t think this was worth the investment. My biggest issue with it is that it dies too quickly. I have a lot of hair, so halfway through straightening it’ll alarm me that it’s gonna die, then I have to wait about 40 mins until it’s fully charged. Even while its plugged in, it’ll still die on you quickly. It does do a good job straightening the hair, but at the end of the day I should’ve saved myself $$$.

As with the Dyson hair dryer and vacuum, this product is definitely worth the cost. I'm sure there are less costly products that can do a similar job, but the overall quality is impressive.

First time to leave a review. I love Dyson products. I was happy with their blow dryer so I said maybe the hair straightener would be too. I was amazed with the packaging and how the product was made and plus it’s cordless so how awesome is that? Yeah it may be heavy but hey of course it’s got battery! Let me describe the type of hair I have. I got a thin fine hair that has a little wave and frizzy. When I first used the product I was kind of disappointed because as I straightened my hair the plates felt kind of rough on the hair as you run it through your hair. Plus if your hair is layered some hair are sticking out like static. I’ve never experienced that with my other cheaper flat iron. I thought probably I didn’t do it right so tried different temperature settings and with the way I run it through my hair and yet the result was still the same. I wanted to convince myself that my hair straightener was worth it but I just can’t not for the price. I would say it could be worth $100.00 for being cordless but for the intent of straightening was surely not worth the $500 price tag. How I wish I could return it and get a full refund. But I’m not the type of person who likes returning.

Definitely worth the money. Works differently from AirWrap. This product requires time and skills, but holds a styling longer than AirWrap. It is also universal voltage - you can use in 220V countries.

I have been straightening my hair for YEARS. I have tried everything from a $20 Remington to a Chi to a T9. Nothing has worked nearly as well as the Dyson and I’m never going back! I’ve been keeping my eye on it since it’s come out and finally broke down and got it. I have yet to have the battery completely die on me while using it and I have some thick hair (it’s shoulder length). The cord did pop out once or twice when I did try to use the cord for kicks and giggles but I just popped it back on and continued, business as usual. It does have some weight (but it IS cordless so...) but I put it down between sections to brush so for me, it isn’t bad.

Used only a few times and have already fallen in love. Being a hairdresser, I love the idea of it being cordless. Although I do think it is very pricey.

This is expensive I know....BUT TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY !!! I’m not the greatest at doing my hair and I feel like this is a big helper !!! I use it with my Dyson AirWrap !!!

Love it! My hair looks shiny and straightens my hair fast. It’s awesome that it’s cordless but it does discharge pretty fast.

Great Straightener! works while plugged in or as a cordless device. Straightens smoothly and quickly. My curly hair was pin straight in half the time. I love it

Works great. A little heavy and batter life could be better. If you have long, thick hair battery may not last long enough.

I really like this straightener, it requires less heat and leaves my hair feeling really soft. It heats up really quickly and being cordless is an added benefit.
