I got this as a deal of the day and the value is incredible. The specs that it lists about 20 minute battery life / 8 min on max are pretty much spot on. The amount you can get done in that amount of time is pretty impressive. Plus, as a first timer to the cordless world.. you never need more than a few minutes here or there because you're able to pop it out so frequently. I have a dog and two cats in my house and this thing blows my "pet vacuum" out of the water.

This vacuum was recommended by a friend. It has very good suction, especially on the maximum power setting, which is not needed for most jobs. It is very convenient and lightweight. The only negative feature is that the power button has to be held down continually. This tends to bother my hand a bit (carpal tunnel syndrome). I wrapped some electrical tape around the button to hold it down, but it is not an ideal solution. If not for this I would give it 5 stars.

You can truly use this vacuum with one hand. Lightweight, good suction. It's great for quick daily use.

Love the cordless aspect, especially when vacuuming stairs carpet. Not as powerful as a regular vacuum, so it's basically a supplemental piece for hard to navigate places.

I really like my new vacuum cleaner. It is easy to manipulate around furniture and picks up very well.

The Dyson is just the right size and powerful enough to handle the clean up jobs around the house. It is light enough to tackle even the jobs that require acrobatics such as cleaning high ceiling fans and curtains without a problem. The best thing is not fighting a hose when doing them!

This vacuum is the second one I purchased. The first one was for our office, and i saw it was used constantly and everybody would look forward to vacuuming. I then purchased one for our home, and not my kids argue over who is going to vacuum. Hands down it has to be because its cord free and easy to use. I have since purchased 2 more.

I purchased this vacuum in hopes that it would help a little with our pet hair problem. The first time I used it I was blown away with the amount of hair I was able to get off of our furniture. This is the third vacuum I have bought for this purpose and the only one that has ever worked. Another plus was the ease in which I was able to vacuum the stairs. No cord in the way, no trying to balance a big upright, just super easy.

Needed a new cordless vacuum and had heard of Dyson. Wasn't sure if they were worth the money. I saw an add for one for 199.00 and thought it was worth a try. (Bestbuy has easy returns) WOW. It was all the hype implied and more. Very easy to dump the dirt and hangs on the wall. Only runs when you pull the trigger. Incredibly powerful. Best vacuum I have ever used. (We have 4 cats and have a clean house now! 1)

It replaced a 22 yr old work horse hover that was very bulky and had lived through a lot of abuse.. This Dyson is so..so..so convenient for everything I cannot praise it enough. Got it on deal of the day for $199 and cant be happier. It really is amazing how powerful this little machine is. We have been using it for 2 months now and have yet to use up the battery and have to stop to charge. Very satisfied!!

This is really handy. Easy to use and does not need a cord. Less bulky than any thing else.

It has the suction of a big vacuum, but small enough to maneuver into small areas.

It is a very powerful machine, however on full power, it only lasts about 7 minutes.

I have all hard floors. I purchased the 12" wide non powered tip. This unit is so easy to use normally and with attachments. Have tried to only do half of the house at a time so far (normal for us), but I think it would do all at one time (lower speed). I decided to use a switched outlet adapter to turn unit off after 5 hour charge time to increase battery life and save electricity.

Very Portable and Lightweight. Ideal for cleaning blinds, windows, & ceilings.
