Great for flat noncarpeted floors (I have an animal for carpet). The battery life of 20 minutes is more than long enough. I love the verisitillity of the attachments as well perfect for doing stairs or the car. Couldn't be more impressed. The only downfall I see is the holder feels a little cheap and wouldn't suprise me if it broke later on but as of now 1 month later still functions as new.

Bought this as gift for use in stairs and quick pickup jobs; very pleasantly surprised, as we'd heard lots of hype about Dyson vacuums being good- this unit far exceeded expectations! We had already vacuumed with full size upright, ran the Dyson behind it, and were wowed (actually shocked!) with how much more stuff this pint size unit picked up. Our next full size will also be a Dyson.

For quick zips around the house, this Vacuum is fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised by how strong the suction was...very strong, especially for a cordless vacuum. Battery life on a single charge lasts me about 15-18 minutes but during that time frame, the vacuum is consistently sucking and thoroughly cleaning some pretty dirty floors. Definitely recommend this Dyson!!

Long life? 20 minutes is long life? Best for use on a smooth surface. If used on carpet it better not be any thicker than the typical indoor/outdoor carpet. There is a reason why certain models have since been replaced. There is something to be said for advances in modern technology.

I had expected that since this product was a Dyson, which everyone raves about, that it would have no problem handling the tough carpets in corners and stairs with ease. I have two cats, and they shed quite a bit, so I needed something lightweight and powerful. This sweeper will get the job done, but often times I need to pick clumps of cat hair off the carpet after using the sweeper. It's as if it didn't suction the hair up to the chamber and collected it, then spit it back out. I checked to see if there were any clogs, and there were none, and there was still stuff being sucked into the chamber, but it didn't quite get what I needed it to get. Though, it was good enough to pull the hair up out of the carpet and make for an easy cleanup, I expected more.

DC44 cordless works well. Very easy to do stairs or other areas where a regular vacuum can't go. Vacuum head is a little smaller than the corded Dyson, but still works fine. Battery does run out after about minutes, but recharging is easy. Bought on sale for $199.

I was impressed by how light and how easy it is to use.

This product is amazing. I have an older Dyson and this is so much lighter and easier to use and works just like the upright Dyson. Love that it's so light as well as being able to use on my stairs and wood floor.

This one isnt specifically for animal hair but it works great and I have a Shepherd mix that sheds a ton! Love it. Wish the MAX setting worked longer than 8 min. I think they've improved the battery life on newer models but overall I really love this vacuum. I used to have a dirt devil so this is an amazing upgrade.

A good unit a much more powerful than the other handheld rechargeable vacuum I own. Great for a quick vacuum of the kitchen, stairs or car without having to worry about cords and hoses. One improvement would be if it wasn't neccesary to hold the trigger down the whole time while vacuuming but that's not a big deal.

I have a Dyson & a Rainbow vacuum that I love. I also have a yellow lab that sheds a lot everyday. I wanted a vacuum that I could use for a daily quick pick up that was wireless and powerful. This vacuum does all this? I recommend this for anyone who wants a quick,light & easy everyday vacuum.

great for cleaning the car and boat, and a small room quickly. love all the the attachments too. sucks up long and short dog hairs.

Very light and easy to use with sufficient power to clean up the kitchen and dining area instead of sweeping. Does not take up much space so easy to store away and take out at any time.

It's a great vaccum for small areas and tight places and the quick once over. With this . I don't have to use the big vaccum near as often which is nice on the back. It's also great to vaccum your vehicle , furniture and other areas m as such. I recommend it higjly

Love this vacuum! Lightweight and picks up dirt really well. I wish the holding cup was larger though. The battery charge lets me do several rooms which surprised me.

This is a great handheld vacuum but it is pretty light. We have some pretty long wool carpet so you have to put a little weight into it to get deep down into it. aside from the weight it is excellent as cleaning up after pets and tackling the stairs!
