OK as a purifier but not as a fan

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Built well, looks great and does the job as an air purifier, but it doesn't really push much air out of it, so I returned the HP01 and replaced it with the TP02 wifi tower fan with purifier as i figured that i didn't really need the heating function. Better functionality with the app and pushes more air around. This product IMO is too expensive not to have the app functionality.

I use for my home office. It gets in the 100's F where I live. The fan goes up to speed of 10 and does not cool the room. It does warm the room in the morning with the heater. The unit needs to be on, in order to use filtration. This is over priced. I love Dyson, but I can get a cheaper fan, hepa filter for the price I spent.

I can confirm that in cooling mode, while the temperature cannot be set like in heat mode, you can adjust the flow of air within 10 speeds. Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

It's noisy at high settings but fairly quite at low settings. It has several nice features like streaming air straight forward or dispersing off to the sides. I'd be glad to give it five star ... except the heating functionality has failed ... just three weeks after the date for returns. Best Buy should stand behind the products they sell for longer than 45 days. Now I have to deal with the warranty.
