If you can get over the cost, this is an amazing product. Honestly as with most Dyson products, the price is the main con. This is my first Dyson fan and I absolutely love it! This has become my year round favorite. I have the fan on pretty much non stop in my bedroom. In the winter I will use the heater function if I need to take the nip out of the room. The Air Purifier in does wonders, even if a candle is lit in the room, you will barely smell it, which can get annoying sometimes. I love this fan, it purifies the ait while keeping you cool, and the option to turn it into a heater, it cools/warms up my bedroom (250 sq ft) in no time! Plus, while I’m out it’s great to be able to control it with the Dyson app to cool/warm up my room before I get back home or turn it off if I accidentally leave the fan on.

I was very skeptical but I gave it a shot and it turned out to be a true all-in-one! Now being from Mass, I've tested the heat and it does work in a good size room. I have mine in a double room with 5 old windows and poor insulation, it's the only source of heat and it keeps it at 63°F, which is what I have it set but I've put it to 70° and it was able to get there. Now I will say when you put the heat on it does start to feel like cool air after you get about 5 feet away but rest assured it will heat up. the room. Actually as I write this it is 28° out and the room is at 63°. The fan and air purifier work like a gem and the app is convenient and optimized, with many different pollutant graphs and readings, these can be seen on the machine itself as well. My only minor issue is that the app can not turn on the heater, only turn it off. Other then that I literally can't complain about anything. Sure the price was a bit high but I feel alot safer with this, especially for the electric heating. One of the best purchases I've made, you get what you pay for.

Yes its a $600 fan, but you really do get what you pay for... My 3 year old has asthma, allergies, and a drafty room pretty far away from the furnace. We've tried a few different air purifiers plus a space heater, but this is far superior to anything else we've had. It is very, very quiet most of the time; you really only notice its there when it decides its time to kick the heater on for a bit. Smart features are fine if you're into that sort of thing. I downloaded the app and set it up, but only used it once since a) I'm not a big app user in general, and b) the on screen graphs and whatnot are really useful to monitor performance. Only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price. It's a great fan/filter/heater, but still.

Was a gift for my parents. Love the modern design, functionality, app feature, and of course the clean air! Definitely can heat a large room (with 20 ft tall ceilings as theirs is) to a comfortable temperature. Really like that it shows how clean the air is and works at a quiet level. May get one myself to be honest.

Dyson. Synonymous with expensive and many times underwhelming. This little fan/IAQ monitor and purifier/Heater saved our bacon during a home reno. It had no problem heating our master suite which has 14’ vaulted ceilings. Original historic wood windows. Everything works. The filters seem to last quite a bit even being exposed to some “pollutants” from rooms afar during our reno. Just don’t lose the dang remote or let it out of your tether. The lovely app which works perfect. Love monitoring my air quality. Having it easy to see. Not having to look for a remote etc. EXCEPT for some weird restriction that the app CANNOT BE USED TO ENABLE THE HEAT FUNCTION. So what happened? The coldest day of its use. We lost the remote. The magnetic dock is a joke and the remote doesn’t “hang on”. Falls off. Well it fell behind the bed and we couldn’t turn the heat on or use it until we found it. Luckily, right after the cold spell past. I still, despite this one major flaw, which I won’t put on the product as the warning says it’s a regional / country thing. But it’s still part of the product experience and usability and definitely worth mention. Oh yeah. I have had twenty different air purifiers. The Coway. Samsung cube (better air purifier, no heat), Blue, etc. My only regret is right after the return window closed they came out with a new model that had colors that match where it resides. Compact in nature. Tilts up and down. And 350 turning side to side radius. There’s something that’s always intriguing about the Dyson fan tech. The other noteworthy feature is that when using it in purification mode the airflow can be reversed, or silenced, by jetting it out the back direction. I’d like to see a skirt for the bottom like the blue to catch non sense stuff that ends up eating into the filters. Which I still have 75% ish life left and it runs 100% of the time. Works so well that if your exhaling vaporized products into the air they’re immediately scrubbed and the machine turns on.

I paid under $500 from a deal of the day special. This air purifier heats and cools large rooms quickly. This air purifier works with the app and the remote control. The remote control controls heat and cooling. The app does not control the heating elements. That is the only con that I can think of to point out. I do use this in a room with a humidifier because it forces out strong dry air. I do live in a mountain area so it is drier here. If you live in a humid place, you may not need a humidifier to use with it. The app explains the air quality in your room accurately. It was easy to start using right away. I was able to order a replacement remote control from dyson within a week. I use this Dyson 3-5 days a week. It helps me with my allergies.

This is an overall excellent product! The fan & heater are great additions for sure & preform great, but we bought this for the air purifier. We were not disappointed to say the least. It exceeded expectations. We love all the data it provides about the air quality inside & outside our home as it is very in depth & helpful. The WiFi takes a bit to setup but it is well worth it. Being able to control this via an app or by voice control enabled product is wonderful. It is loaded with many great features to provide you with best this product can give. Dyson has yet to let us down with their products.

Love the air purifier i can breathe feel the difference in the air quality in my house. Very quite run it 6 to 8 hrs dont smell any odors or feel any dusty air i m breathing. I have allergies feel the difference in air quality has the heater option for winter time. Love the app can control from anywhere before getting to the hosue shows air quality on screen and app. Bought it on deal of the day used rewards points wasn't gonna pay full price.

I love this air purifier. It gave me great peace of mind to see how well it was working when we had terrible air quality from nearby wildfires and I could monitor it from my cell phone app when I wasn't home (left it running for the pets when I was at work!). It's quiet unless on higher levels when the fan is blowing strongly. Both the fan and heat feature work as well as the purifier. It's rather big, but the attractive design helps it fit into the room. I really appreciate the nighttime dimming feature for the display, so if you want to have it in your bedroom you don't have to try to cover up the display light. It's expensive, yes, but worth the investment.

Purchased this for my 96 year old grandfather that likes to spend a lot of time in his room with his dog and the door closed. Of course at his age he likes the heat a lot more than the cold so he has a little space heater in his room that is set to 78. We noticed him starting to cough more and thought maybe it was getting a little dusty in there seeing he likes his door close and his little dog is in the room with him 99% of the time. Wanting to get him an air purifier, but also concerned about something not only being loud but taking up more space in addition to his little heater in his already small room I happen to find this! Honestly I was skeptical at first, but WoW this thing works GREAT and grandpa is happy as can be!! The heater works perfect and the fact that the air purifier is constantly working whether when heating or in fan mode is just awesome!!!! It has helped with the air quality in his room it's super quiet and it keeps him at the perfect temp. To be honest the only thing that I can really complain about is the actual cost... $650 bucks is a bit steep but when it comes to my grandfather I try only to give him the best! Thanks Dyson for creating this product keep them coming, but please try to work on the price tags LoL.

The size is great, app control is convenient, and features are excellent. The trouble comes in when you reach the HOT + Cool part, and continues on through the 800 square-foot part. For one thing, you cannot control the heating mode via the app... AT ALL! This means, if you are at work and find that your living room is 62 degrees via the app’s information log, you cannot do a thing about it! Turning the machine on via the app’s command prompts will automatically set it to Cooling Mode with no way of turning it off! Even if you KNOW somebody else is home, even if you KNOW nothing bad will happen, you are stuck either turning the machine off completely, leaving it on all day, or attempting the thermostat triggered on and off heat cycle. Now, that third option sounds all fine and well, but lord knows I can’t figure out how to do it! I followed the instructions, and even when it reads that the room has reached the desired temp... it just... shuts itself into eternal sleep mode until I come along and adjust it again. So a dead useless feature in my experiences. It is meant to turn back on should the temp drop, but mine dropped by four degrees with no response. Now, on the positive side, this thing will be a little beast in the summer when I do require the Cooling Mode, the air purification is lovely, and night mode is very desirably quiet. It does everything it says it will and more... just not when it comes to the heating elements.

I love these Dyson Hot & Cool air purifiers. I'm very allergic to pollen and dust and this keeps the air in my house incredibly clean. My sinus stuffiness has completely cleared up and I've stopped snoring at night. It also means that I don't have to run heat or air conditioning on high all over my house, since I can turn this on when I'm sitting in my comfy chair at night reading and watching TV. I've even given these as gifts to family members with allergies.

Best purchase! Keeps the air quality clean, and the dual air and heat keeps the house either warm or cool during the winter and summer. Can’t recommend this enough

This product is definitely second to none. A multi unit that satisfies your current situation whatever it may become. It makes you feel like you have a wall unit and central air all together.

This is stylish and filled my many needs.. I Breathe fresh air and not pollens or toxins.. I get sinus infections all thre time and I feel this will definatly help. It's quiet and I'm actually using it for a heater because my apartment dosent really circulate the heat so my thermostat is not reading correctly. Using this Dyson keeps my gas bill down and it circulates the heat all around thre house evenly. No More cold feet or freezing after a shower : ) Dyson is the Best of the Best!!

They have designed this well. I have owned several Dyson devices and this one, in particular, is better than any prior Dyson fan I have owned. To give you an idea of the quality delivered by this device I would have to provide metrics as I am an engineer who does similar design. But to keep it in the realm of understanding for anyone who reads this know that I have been in one of the worst areas for air quality for over 2 years (California Valley surrounded by wildfires), and the first night I turned this unit on, instead of the one that was best rated from amazon, I slept without any coughing, sneezing, and difficulty breathing...again I am in California and surrounded by wildfires. This device has helped my wife and I so much I hope that the design engineers reading this comment know how much they have helped and I hope that anyone else reading this does not take some Youtuber with an anemometer seriously as yes this will deliver 171 fpm compared to the AM07 which measures 311 fpm at 10 ft but forced convection is not everything and you should really consider how much insulation you surround yourself with at night. Dyson could drop the price of this as I am sure they are still covering the development costs. However, you get what you pay for and I would not settle for less than what I think I deserve

Perfect for air quality control. Not as quiet as you would expect a bladeless fan to be. The heater is great and I would rate it at 3/5. The fan as 4/5 and the air purifier as 5/5. Easy to use at 5/5 and would give it a 1/5 for the price. And overall i'd say it's a 3/5. Would buy again though.

I primarily bought this device because my new apartment has an old-fashioned gas convection floor heater that was full of dust and didn't inspire much confidence--apparently, they are awful for air quality and not that good at heating. Searching around the internet for a reliable space heater yielded spotty results. There were enough horror story reviews on almost every type of heater I looked at (oil leaking, exploding, catching fire, plastic melting, etc) that I didn't want to take any risk of my own safety, and also potentially losing my deposit on a burnt rug. This Dyson was initially far out of my price range, but I reconsidered after my search and decided that it would be worth it--I also needed an air purifier and a fan for the summer so why not stack those functions in one high-quality unit? As a heater, the HP04 does a pretty good job at warming up a small room in mildly chilly temperatures. However, if it gets really cold, just one device is probably not enough. It's more of a supplementary heater to be used with a primary heat source. As I type this review it's about 40F outside, and the display on the Dyson says the inside temperature is 69F. The heater is on full blast and about 2 feet away from me, but it still feels a little chilly. The air coming out feels more warm than hot, probably because of the ambient temperature. If you live in a place with truly cold winters, you definitely won't want to rely on this as your sole source of heat. That all said, it was 100% worth the investment, and I don't regret dropping the extra $100 on the 04 over the 02. The LCD screen makes it easy to operate and I enjoy being able to see air quality data displayed right there on the device. It would be nice if it did get a little hotter, but for its versatility I really can't complain.
