Yes it's pricey but it does SO well...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have been through SO many vacuums, so many, did I say SO many? Seriously my wife has been through like 10 vacuums in the last few years and none ever seemed to be real good. Since Dyson has such a great reputation, I thought we'd give it a try. I picked this model because it has the biggest brush and the best suction power. And kind of a present for my wife. My wife loves this, just loves it. She has like nothing she doesn't like about it. It cleans so well and picks up pretty much everything. Plus it comes with so many attachments. Everything is easy to use, just snap an attachment in and go. Guess the only negative is the price. But... It is high quality and you do get what you pay for. If we don't need to get yet another new vacuum, it will pay for itself. Well, one other thing, you really need to get a stand for this, it does come with a mount, but if you don't use that, it does not stand on it's own. Kind a thing I guess with stick cordless vacuums. I picked up a stand that uses the included mount and it woks perfectly. The wife is very happy, I am happy, would recommend.

Works as well or better than a corded vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being cordless is the best! The battery lasts a long time. The laser shows all the fine particles on a bare floor. It’s easy to empty and maintain. Long hair never wraps around the brush heads. It’s crazy how well that particular feature works. It is a little heavy after using for a while but worth it for the results and portability especially if you have a large house, stairs and various floor types.

Powerful, light, and great battery life!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our first ever Dyson vacuum and it is incredible! From the moment you open the box, the attention to detail in the instructions, commitment to environmentally friendly packaging (ALL recyclable paper-based packaging!!!), and all of the accessories! I have had a fair share of cordless vacuums, including a second battery is basically standard after reaching a certain price-point, but Dyson does one better and includes a second charge, too! This is fantastic for someone that has a two story home and doesn't enjoy having to bring the vacuum up back downstairs to charge it if I get into a super deep cleaning mode and actually manage to kill the battery before finishing vacuuming. The controls are intuitive but I would still recommend a brief stroll through the instruction manuals to become completely familiar with the functionality, especially the different uses for the two rollers... the hair remover head, which is the main one we use since our dog sheds a little and my significant other sheds a lot and she doesn't care to vacuum or clean the hair out of the vacuum roller if/when it clogs. We have not had any issues with hair clogging any of the cleaning heads, or any other objects being missed by this vacuum. My favorite feature is the battery life estimator that shows the estimated amount of time remaining based on cleaning modes and power, this is an absolute game changer! Our old cordless stick vacuum would show this in the app and show the power level on the display, but not the battery life on the display. I could go on and on about how fantastic this vacuum is and how Dyson knocked it out of the park, but trying it out is the real winner. It's on the pricier side of vacuums, but it is loaded with everything you could want and I have heard incredible things about Dyson's support, if you need to contact them. I would highly recommend!

Pricey, but worth it
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s pricey, no doubt! But the vacuum does an amazing job on our hardwood and tile floors, and after switching out the heads, does very well on our area rugs as well. It even did a decent job on the small carpet in our kids loft bedroom. The light seems like a silly gimmick, but actually it does an amazing job of showing how much unseen dust really is laying on your floors. It is a little bit heavier than other stick vacs I have had, but the extra suction and larger collection bin are worth the extra weight, Battery life seems very good as there is enough battery to do all of our house with plenty to spare.

The Queen of All Dysons!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned Dyson products for years and I certainly stand behind the brand. My new Dyson Outsize+ Cordless Vacuum blows my previous vacuums out of the water. First, it is so light and easy to maneuver. It can go under anything without having to buy additional attachments. Second, it comes with two large cleaning heads. The XL Digital cleaning head is Smart and automatically senses how much suction power to use on hard floors or carpets. You don’t have to do anything. The with its new technology, you no longer have to spend time trying to pull out long hair from the roller. The second cleaning head uses a cool green laser light that lights up the dust in bright green so you can’t miss a thing! Third, it is a breeze to empty the canister. Fourth, the great attachments make cleaning furniture, shelves, stairs, and mattresses simple and quick. I’ve saved the vest for last. Fifth, the best part of this vacuum is that it is cordless! It comes with two batteries, which you can quickly change, recharge, and continue vacuuming. Each battery lasts unbelievably long too. I love this vacuum and already recommended it to my sister who now has one too. It’s time to upgrade and trust me, you will love vacuuming with the Dyson Outsize+.

LOVE THIS!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We upgraded our old rolling Dyson and WOW what a difference. This vacuumed is easy to use but powerful. We had just vacuumed one room when we decided to get this new one- out of curiosity I vacuumed that same room again and WOW what a difference. The new vacuum actually picked up ALL the dog hair and left no crumbs. The stick version is great because you can remove the actual stick and use it as a handheld! My stairs and harder to clean places actually get some attention now! I really like the hardwood floor accessory- it glides so smoothly and the laser is really helpful to find things missed. It came with two batteries which I need for the whole house but unless you have a lot of gunk j. Your carpets, the eco setting gives you the maximum time for each battery. It has a time in it to show you how long you have left! I don't think I could go back to a wired/rolly vacuum after this.

Comparison of outsize v15 vs Dyson cinetic
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a Dyson cinetic big ball vacuum for years and like that it does a great job and has the Hepa feature… downside is it is heavy and noisey. We were consider getting a new one, we saw the v15 model, but we opted for the outsize v15 which is like the v15 but has a bigger canister and two batteries. Wow great vacuum a tad heavier over the v15 but manageable. I like the wide rug head, my home is 80% hardwood with 10% area rugs and wall to wall carpet basement. I can do 3/4 of my home (3,000 Sq ft) on 1 battery, by time I reach the basement I/8 done with the same battery, using the 2nd finished the job with 30% power left on 2nd battery. It’s very quiet way better then our old one. Love the laser light head on hardwood floors. Wish there was laser on the rug head. The only bad design is the trigger, your finger gets tired holding the trigger, no locking feature, I wish it came with a light crevice tool and small hose attachment. Overall it does a great job as well as the Dyson cinetic model just no cords, which is great!!!

Great vacuum and awesome Dyson quality as expected
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is great vacuum cleaner. It has amazing suction and really does a good job pulling all the loose dirt and pet hair out of our carpets and the laser light is awesome on our hard floors. With Dyson, they definitely are more expensive for sure but their quality and vacuum suction is really amazing. The battery life on this particular unit is really exceptional and having the backup battery to swap in is an added bonus. My one and only small complaint is that after using all the batteries and completely going clean crazy my hands were slightly tired from moving around the entire vacuum but for regular use it’s totally easy to move around. The weight is very well balanced.

Great vacuum, power button hard to use
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great cordless vacuum. I have two large dogs and this vacuum keeps up with the cleaning. Sucks up lots of dust and hair, powerful suction. Three different suction powers. You have a low, medium, and max suction. On max suction, the battery lasts about 7 min. My only complaint is the power trigger to turn on the vacuum. You have to hold it down in order for the vacuum to work and it doesn’t lock down. Whenever you let it go, the vacuum turns off. This plus the weight of the vacuum makes it hard to clean. I bought a lock mechanism off Amazon to hold the trigger in place so it doesn’t turn off.

Great vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This vacuum has to be one of the best i have ever owned. The battery life is great and suction power takes care of anything and everything I throw at it. From cat litter to dust, hair, etc. It doesnt moss a thing, the extra sized bin helps me from having to empty it more than once. Also the green lit vacuum head really shows the hard to see dust around your floors. The extra battery is great although i never really have to use it but good to have in case. Plus its compact and can be held up by a stand which fits conveniently in my closet and when needed i can charge it by outlet. If you need a vacuum that is battery operated and lole me constantly needing to use it then this one is worth it. Dyson has proven to me to be one of the best vscuums ive owned yet.

Big improvement over previous versions
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You know the sayings: buy once, cry once. Or buy nice, not twice. I remind myself this when I purchased the Dyson Outsize. Meant to replace our Dyson V6 Motorheasd, which still works but doesn’t meet the needs of our growing family. I can honestly say that the Outsize exceeded expectations. An example, it revitalized our carpet but really cleaning it much deeper than the V6. It almost makes you want to vacuum for fun, a sign of a good tool with little friction. It’s heavy, but works well so that’s the trade off. Need more motivation to vacuum? Consider it a workout and you’ll want to incorporate the Outsize in your routine.

I replaced my Cinetic Big Ball with this cordless
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has all the power and functionality of my old upright but with even more maneuverability. No more cords or moving plugs to worry about. I am able to clean the house faster and more efficiently than ever. I love the oversized head and how the motor adjusts to my different floors (wood, carpet & tile). The countdown features let’s you know how much time you have left on your battery so no surprise loss of power + you have an extra battery just in case. No idea what technology allows for so much power but so little noise but my wife and cats approve.

The Dyson you cant live without.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After my Dyson V12 Outsize unfortunately stopped working, I went to Best Buy to replace it and had to upgrade to this model as the one I was returning was not in stock. I am so glad that it was out of stock. This Dyson is amazing. It has greater suction power, you can literally feel the carpet lift when vacuuming. The floor brush with the laser is also very convenient as it makes all the dust, and in my case, pet hairs visible - it really highlights so much dust that one would normally miss without it. The only thing my wife complains about is that it tends to get heavy, however, I dont feel it is. Additionally, with a house filled with 4 dogs and 3 kids, this is a must have.

Great product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great vacuum my wife loves the dyson vacuums so much this is her 3rd one . She gave the last 2 to each of our daughters just so she could upgrade to the next version . We have multiple dogs and this vac keeps the house car and furniture hair free . Dogs spill kibble on the floor no problem sucks it right up. 3 settings we normally use on medium and handles all with no problem for corners she cranks it up to highest setting and makes them a breeze . This being our latest purchase comes even more accessories wider head on main attachment . Super easy handle charge empty and clean . If you want the best vacuum this is it .

This thing sucks.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing sucks, and I mean that in a positive meaning. We have been Dyson snobs for many years, owning multiple vacuums. After retiring our Dyson Big Ball Animal+, we decided to give the Dyson Outsize+ a try. This happens to be the first time we switched to a cordless vacuum over the typical corded vacuum. With two German shepherds, who are always shedding, vacuuming is a daily chore around the house. There is no lack of sucking power, battery life, or canister size. After about a month of daily use, we are very happy with our decision.

I wanted the best, I got the best.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace an aging Dyson V6 that needs a new battery. I was very hesitant at first considering the price, that is a major sticker shock! But I haven't regretted it yet and that's a good thing. 1. The Suction: This thing is a beast, my carpets haven't been this clean in years. It gets all the pet hair, human hair and dirt until there is absolutely nothing left with one pass. I thought my old V6 did a pretty good job, but this is on a whole other level. Maximum power mode on this thing is absurdly powerful and for my hardfloors, Eco mode is plenty. 2. The Size: If you're doing whole house cleaning, the large bin is fantastic. I can get through a whole house cleaning without reaching the max fill line. Emptying the bin straight out like a trombone is great improvement over the old design, opens right up and pushes everything right out into the bin, no need to fish your fingers in there to get left over debris out. I think this is about as big as you can make a "handheld" vacuum. It can be a little unwieldy, but switching between arms it never became over fatiguing. Not as great of an option for cleaning cars though, buy the flex hose if you plan on doing tight space cleaning. 3. Battery Life: Dyson has come a long way with their batteries since the V6. My V6 could cover the whole house when it was new on one whole charge. This thing can cover my whole house THOROUGHLY and barely get to 50% and there is a whole extra battery included! Although I won't need to hot-swap the battery to finish a cleaning, it's nice to have an extra to swap out to balance the wear and tear over the years. My V6 lasted me 5 years, this should last a good deal longer than that with 2 batteries that aren't being fully cycled! Oh also, it lets me know how much battery is left, a great nice to have feature that old models lacked. Plus it has two chargers in the box, so you can keep the vacuum docked and have the spare topped off ready to go seperately, great thinking! 4: The Tools: This package comes with basically all the tools, most of which are pretty standard fare, but the two I want to cover are the digital auto-detangling brush and the laser illuminating hardfloor brush. The detangling brush is great! I have to clean a lot of long human hair and pet hair in my house and cleaning my old brush bar was always a pain. This thing works, don't even have to think about it anymore. It auto-adjusts to your floor and you can adjust it for tighter seal or looser suction (great for rugs). The new laser hardwood soft brush is great as well. The good news is you can see how dirty your floor is, the bad news is you can see how dirty your floor is. That being said, it's a great feature that helps ensure you get everything and the new brush bar is slimmer than older models so it fits under furniture much better. Also, removing the brush bar is now tool-less, so cleaning it is less work than before. Great tools, they work better and are less maintenance than older tools, great improvements. 5. The Price: That's a lot for anyone, this vacuum may not be the best bang for your buck out there, but I can say it is rightfully top of the line in many categories. It has more suction and battery life than any handheld vacuum out there and Dyson's batteries are very well made. The tools are useful, but admittedly nice to haves and you may get away with less. Furthermore, at this price point I would like to see even more tools included, such as flex hose and angle adapters. BOTTOM LINE: This is an uncompromising whole-house cleaner with some very convenient features and time saving maintenance reducing features. You will get the best suction, battery life and battery build quality hands down. If you don't have the disposable income for this kind of a purchase, this may not be the value proposition you're after. But I think what you get for the price is fair, albeit not the best value. I was skeptical about the overall value of my V6 when I bought and it worked dependably and well for 5+ years (I still plan on using it if I can get a battery for it!). I'm hoping this will last me even longer which makes the price much easier to swallow.

Very Impressed!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was time for an upgrade. So, after extensive research into new vacuums. This is what I settled on for our needs (Carpet and Hardwood) and multiple pets (3 Cats, 1 Dog). This vacuum works wonders. It's capabilities for a cordless vacuum far surpass our older standing vacuum. Comes with two batteries, but we do not need both for cleaning the whole house. The laser is probably my favorite feature of all, ensuring not one spec of hair, litter, or dirt is missed!

Another Dyson Win
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced our Dyson animal that was about 15 years old with this. Appreciate its lightweight and maneuverability. And still retains great suction. I was surprised at how well it detects changes from hardwood to area rug levels of height. Changing the heads has been a learning curve, more difficult than past models. Second note on negative side, laser shows dust along baseboards, but the machine head does not pick it up. Not a dealbreaker, but addressing this would greatly improve the machine.

Best Vacuum ever
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love, love, love my new vacuum. It’s incredibly powerful, I can carry it up and down stairs with ease and the tools make cleaning so much easier. Now that I don’t have a cord to constantly plug in, vacuuming my whole house is a lot faster. I especially love the laser light so that I can see places where I may have missed in the past. It also comes with two batteries and chargers so I am able to clean my whole house (just under 3200 sq ft) and still have some “juice” left.
