Posted .Hello Essa, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

I splurged on this Dyson thinking it would pose as a dual “cooling” fan & air purfuer, and while my room felt less stuffy and cleaner overall, the fan performance was average at best. I wish the fan aspect would push more air overall! Design is modern and sleek which I love, but this Dyson just did not do enough for me to justify price. Great concept, average execution.
