I can confirm that this model is not one of our connected machines; it does not have the built-in WIFI which would allow that Dyson app connection. Having said that, the machine will still perform in the same manner as our connected ones will. Most Effective Fan Ever

Almost as soon as we got it set up, allergy symptoms cleared up. It was our first Dyson product, but it was kinda flimsy for the price.

One negative though, if you lose the remote you can only control the speed of the fan. It cannot oscillate without a remote.
