We have the non filter fan and it is smaller and easily moves double the amount of air. Of course this is filtered, but I would not have anticipated such a large airflow difference. Also, three weeks into using it and while osculating it now has a hitch and three spot that are both annoying to see but also it makes noise when it does it. Taking it up with Dyson to see how they want to proceed.

There simplicity and "average" look with no bells and whistles was great for the 20th century. Read it one more time. Was great for the 20th century. But we're in the roaring 20s now, time to get a fan from this century and move in with the times. The Dyson fan is not just fan that blows air and of course has a cool, modern look, it has a purifier and living in today's crazy times. You need a purifier. Costly, yes, but worth it, Of course!

Then if you do that it sounds like someones broke jet trying to take off. Not worth the money. Buy yourself a different towerr fan and a purifier for cheaper than the price of this thing. Returning it immediately.
