GREAT AC ALTERNATIVE FOR SMALL APARMENT

Instead of buying an expensive standing AC unit plus a humidifier for my small apartment space, I saved money and energy with this. It has cooled down my 600 sq ft living space considerably. 10/10 would recommend.

The design is very nice and it is pretty quiet but it doesn’t do much as an air purifier and there are fans that cost 1/3rd of the price and provide the same fresh air.

Posted .Hello Crys, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for sharing your review. I'm happy to hear that you found the design of the Dyson Pure Cool Tower to be so pleasing. Dyson Pure Cool air purifiers are designed with a 360 degree HEPA filter. This allows air to be drawn in from all around the machine. Dyson Pure Cool air purifiers will also feature 180 degrees of oscillation to help project purified air around the whole room. As a result, Dyson air purifiers may be be used to purify any size room. Essentially the larger the size of room the more time the unit will take to purify.

Posted .Hello Samantha, this is Kelly with Dyson. I am sorry to read your review and learn how disappointed you are in your Dyson Pure Cool air purifier and fan. Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

A decent overpriced fan

Noticed a funny smell shortly after turning it on. It comes with a fancy remote that you can place it on top of the fan and it sticks magnetically but just not worth the price in my honest opinion.
