It cools down your room and looks cool doing it. You’ll for sure get the same results with a regular fan. I haven’t noticed much difference with the purifier, but I also don’t have allergies.

Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you've been disappointed, thus far in your use, with the Dyson TP01. Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

It doesn't have any fancy programming like I don't know being able to connect to an app. You can get a less expensive product that can do a lot more. You are getting a glorified fan. It's made from cheap plastic.

It's definitely worth noting that these machines will differ from our Dyson Pure Cool Link™ and our most recent purifier offerings which do offer connectivity with the Dyson Link app. Our app does offer additional functionality, along with the ability to control your machine remotely, without the included remote control. That said, Dyson Pure Cool™ is a great option for those who prefer a more simple design or do not prefer to have the added app functionality – but would still prefer a Dyson engineered purifier, along with the powerful and smooth air provided by our Air Multiplier™ technology. It's also worth noting Dyson Pure Cool™ will offer the same great performance, and purification provided by our Dyson Pure Cool Link™ models. While we definitely wouldn't expect our owners to be rough with their purifiers, you can also rest assured that Dyson machines are built to stand the test of time. Our materials are light, yet durable, and all of our designs are tested to destruction before they're finalized. We carry this out both using test rigs for extensive hours as well as in-home trials with end-users. Living on the top floor of my building the heat had become unbearable. The purchased of the Dyson Air Purifier and fan has made my apartment bearable and cooler . This purchase lives up to it's stats.

My only gripe is that all the controls are on the remote, none on the actual unit. If you misplace the tiny remote, you'll only be able to turn the unit on or off with whatever setting you last programed.

Also great with little kids since don't; need to worry about exposed fan blades.

I have four Dyson fans my oldest ones seven years old and it works amazing. Easy to clean. No blades help when my kids were small. All and all I like the product

Great all around fan

Its also went above and beyond as I had a leak in my ceiling and I put this fan up their. Dried the whole place out with no issues.

I was prepared to be amazed by a $300+ fan but this thing is loud on any setting that actually moves air which even at 10 is pretty weak. The swivel feature is a fixed range and teying to stop it at an angle is nearly impossible with the remote. Speaking of the remote, this is one that requires precisely pointing it at the base or is wont register. This product has ruined the reputation of Dyson for me and i would hesitate to buy anything else from them.

Performing as hoped

Perfect for what I needed it to do, which was to live in a small space, which it fits perfectly, but moves a lot of air quietly.

Not worth it without a wifi connection

Good product

App was easy to use and setup, like I can control everything by my phone even sync it to my Amazon product so it listen to voice command.
