Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. I am sorry to read your review and learn how disappointed you are in your Dyson Pure Cool air purifier and fan. Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.

Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The "F3" alert you are seeing it there to alert you that it's time to change the non-washable filter in your TP01. The filter life is roughly 4400 hours, which amounts to about a year of use, if you use your machine 12 hours every day. Filter life can vary greatly, depending on both indoor and outdoor air quality. Replacement filters can be purchased at your local authorized Dyson retailer, or online on the Dyson website.

The remote is small, so I must be careful to put it back where I'll find it..Also remote must be held about 3-4 feet and aimed at the base of the fan to work.

At high setting it’s loud. As a purifier i can’t tell if it works but I assumed that it is. The one thing that is missing. it should have proper spot for handle.

And the fan is pretty powerful. Unfortunately, since it’s an older model there’s no connectivity to the Dyson app to monitor the air in the room and there is no auto feature which allows the fan to turn off when the air is purified. And the remote: it has about 3 feet of reach. Just be warned. You can’t turn it off with the remote unless you are truly right in front of it. Not great if you want to turn it off from bed or anything. The sensor for the remote is also at the very bottom of the fan so you have to aim so low that it’s just awkward to turn off and on. I’m keeping it only because of the color. But for $300 it is not really worth it.

Awesome Air Purifier

I like the style and easy cleaning unlike the other tower fan that it accumulates dust and hard to clean. Peace of mind having air cleaner that before.

The only thing that I wish was better is the remote proximity. I have to be within a couple of feet of the fan to use the remote.

We live in an apartment and did not want to turn on our AC when we only spend most of our time in a room. So this was very helpful and our pups loves it!

Timer is great for overnight use and to not forget to turn it off in the morning. Pricy but worth it.

However, the fan power is not as strong as the non-filter Dyson fan that is the same size (regular Dyson tower fan) as compared when on equal fan speed settings. We own both.

The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings. This machine also has an oscillation range of 180 degrees, which helps project purified air around the whole room.

It has a great variety of speeds to blow air. Having a filter and no blades has really helped with my allergies and pet dander (I have two cats)
