Posted .Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. I am sorry to read your review and learn how disappointed you are in your Dyson Pure Cool air purifier and fan. Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.

This thing is about as useless as a screen door on a submarine. It's tolerable up to about setting 8, then it's too loud. No matter what setting it's on, the airflow is almost non existent. Having been in the HVAC business, I have an anemometer to measure airflow. On the highest setting, from 10' away, I get 1.5mph wind. Any lower setting isn't enough to even measure. For $400, that's unacceptable. Definitely returning this junk, and won't be purchasing another. I should not have to spend more than the already obsurd amount of money I paid for this one, just to feel the same thing a $50 fan can do
