The Dyson Pure Cool Tower TP01 air purifier will feature adjustable airflow settings ranging from 1-10, and an oscillation range of 180 degrees, which helps project purified air around the whole room. I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered a lack of airflow from your machine. It did this for a while and I could not fall back to sleep! Also I noticed it did not blow any cooler or harder than my much less expensive tower fan, so I returned it.

Posted .Hello Ness, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that your TP01 Pure Cool Tower developed a squeaking noise in your use. That's certainly unusual to hear, and it isn't how we'd expect for your Dyson to perform. Dyson Pure Cool features a HEPA filter to remove 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, mold spores, bacteria and pet dander. The second layer in the filter contains activated carbon to capture household odors and volatile organic compounds like paint fumes. The machine also features a sleep timer, oscillation and 10 air speed settings.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.
