My husband usually gets stuffy nose and dry cough if we leave a regular fan all night but when we started using this Dyson fan and purifier in our bedroom the problems went away. It's a great buy esp we got it during a Best Buy sale. Highly recommended!

Got this while it was on sale. Let me say that this fan has a lot of power and the air is cool. The filter works great and keeps the air in my room clean.

This has helped keep our upstairs just a bit cooler. We have a daylight basement that gets too cold when the summer (Georgia) temperatures in our living room/dining room kitchen area get too hot. Thermostat is on the main floor and the dyson pure cool gives enough circulation so the a/c doesn't just run all day. Someday we need to install zoned hvac or dual systmes but for now this was a tad less expensive! We ran this thing 24/7 on high setting in the summer of 2019 and it made a significant difference - we had over 100 days over 95 degrees. No problems with performance and we really like the remote control and the oscillating feature. not too noisy and it's kind of cool looking too.

we paid $299 for this fan. It's the most expensive fan I have ever purchased. Nonetheless, It was a good purchase. It keeps our bedroom cool without producing too much noise.

This fan is the best. Love having no fan blades. Is fairly quite. So stylish and easy to use. Love that it’s a fan and air purifier

I bought this to use instead of a ceiling fan following Lasik surgery. I was worried about it being quite enough to enable a sound night's sleep, but had no worries. It's very quiet, yet sufficient airflow to keep me comfortable in the night. I compared it to other popular tower fans, and decided though still pricey, it's the best investment out of all fans considered.

Amazing. Bought then on special and allergies have decreased dramatically. It also keeps the room fresh and nice to have in the kids room.

Cleans air and keeps me cool, adjustable speed but I run on 10 to block outside noise being on early shift at work. Going to buy a second one for other bedroom.

Assembly and set-up are easy. The remote control is pretty intuititve. As an air filter, it functions wonderfully. After running for less than 30 minutes, I can tell the difference in air quality in the room (I have allergies, so I know what I'm talking about.) As a fan, I suspect it may be a bit underwhelming, but I will see once the weather gets hotter.

Very good fan, but it cools only a small area, but it does circulate the room. It is in a room 20 x 20, it would work best in a 10 x 10 room for entire cooling.

Great product! It's not noisy and keep the room cool. This is the second unit that I buy. The furst one that I bought didn't need any maintenence.

I bought this when it was on sale because owning a Dyson item had always been on my bucket list. I know it sounds dumb but I loved their attention to detail on design and their marketing really sold me on their products. I needed a fan for my room and had always wanted an air purifier as well so that was my excuse for making this purchase as it was both a fan and an air purifier and had a sleek beautiful design. Setup was incredibly easy and the product is much lighter than it looks. I was incredibly excited about the purchase... until I turned it on. The fan is incredibly weak. I live in a hot and humid area so I wanted a fan for when I slept at night so I wouldn't have to use the a.c. before I was using a small cheap fan but I didn't like how noisy it was and it didn't oscillate either. Well, the Dyson fan does oscillate but I'm surprised none of the comments here have mentioned the noise this fan makes. Once you put it on level 7 or higher there is a loud noise that is akin to white noise or the noise you get while on an airplane. It sounds like an airplane engine that has been muted or something. It might not be noticeable in a large room but my room is very small so it is very noticeable. I tried getting used to it and after reading other things online convinced myself that my room was too small for the fan to be effective but honestly at this point I am extremely disappointed with the product and want to return it but it's been more than 60 days so I doubt I can. This product has turned me off from all Dyson products and I will never purchase another one of their products again. It just baffles me how the main function if the product, which is to blow air to cool the owner down, is so obviously deficit. Even at the highest setting I feel like the air flow is too gentle to cool me down. We were unsure if it was worth the purchase but this has blown us away. The air quality in our room feels a lot better and it keeps us cool at the same time.

This fan is pricey but works great!! You can get a fan with same air flow for cheaper, I bought purely on looks and above average performance and it does what I need it too. The fans quiet as well!

This fan does exactly what it is supposed to do. Cools and purifies our top floor apartment. We are now dust free and able to breathe easier.

As it says it is a good air purifying fan, but not strong enough to cool the whole room as I had hoped. The good is that it'll let you know when you need to change the filter and the filter itself lasts for 12 months.

Overall I like the design and action. Easy assembly and remote handling (make sure not to lose it!). I do like the modern look and feel. It is effective in generating cooler air, albeit not as good as any air conditioner would. But as adjunct device it’s great especially in high heat areas (AZ, NV, etc). The breeze generated is directed and effective. I am a bit disappointed that at the 8-9-10 (highest settings) this good fan makes enough noise that can interfere with being on ‘online-discussions.’ Yet- the noise is overall at least half of ständerd fans that don’t use this great technology. Thus the effectiveness is limited by noise at times. Thus: 4 stars

This fan is awesome, it really blows a good breeze, in spite of the unorthodox look for a fan.
