This is a practical luxury table lamp with a veriaty of functions. I use this as night guide lamp with its motion sensor as well as table lamp for work and study. This illuminates too smoothly to bother others in middle of dark night. It helps me to go to the restroom without any storng light pollution to others who sleeping. It is so gorgeous mood light.

Love it. The motion sensor is better than any of my smart house sensors. Dyson doesn’t try to overreach and they really deliver a solid stand alone product that seamlessly blends in with all the other smart house tech...but without even having to connect to my hub. It just works. I walk up to it, it glows on. During the day it’s bright, at night it’s an amber glow. I barely even use the controls. (Speaking of controls, this thing does have a lot of them. 3 touch pads/slider strips on top for on/off, dim/intensity, and cool/warm manual adjustment. Under are 3 buttons for auto day warmth lighting adjustment on/off, motion sensor on/off (really good motion sensing), and auto on/off

This is our second Lightcycle Morph light in the house after buying the full-size light for the living room months ago. I absolutely LOVE the way this light looks, first the foremost in "lightsaber" mode. When I need additional light for tasks that require more direct light, this works amazing for reading and/or for indirect light. Yes the light is pricey but I have never seen anything like this -- the app is great for controlling the light however one wants it, highly reommended (and I can't promise we don't get more of these lol)

I own both the old model and now added this one to my fleet. But after some use, I have mixed feelings about this lamp. The good: 1. Industrial design is awesome 2. Almost all metal construction 3. Functionality wise, it's perfect. Once you set it up, it turns on and off automatically, and you can sync it to your local time and location and it will automatically adjust the color temperature and brightness, which works very well. 4. Plenty bright and color temperature range is very broad. Now the bad: 1. Not height adjustable 2. Arm is a little short 3. Power cord could've been made out of better material such as silicon instead of rubber. Improvements compared to the old style: 1. Lamp head is now rotatable, and it's more versitile. 2. The lamp base rotates more smoothly than the old model 3. The added decor lamp "dock" is pretty nice looking. What they got wrong compared to the old style: 1. No longer height adjustable 2. Lower max brightness (not really an issue imo) 3. Feels a little less solid Also for the love of god Dyson, please make a light diffuser that magnetically mounts to lamp head, this lamp has a rotatable head, and it's perfect for video call, but without the diffuser this lamp will blind you... Such a missed opportunity.

Disappointed with the quality of the product. When one pays upwards of $600 for a table lamp, it’s fair to expect nothing but the best. Dyson should be very careful that nothing slips through stringent quality control after manufacturing. And if it does customer service should be phenomenal. Anyway, if it happened to me it can happen to you too. The disappointing quality I talk about is the plastic part that is supposed to slide up in the ambient light mode and seal the bright light out is crooked and very bright light leaks out I contacted Dyson and other than the usual customer service I’d get for even a cheaper product nothing was exceptional. I expect more and that’s yet to be seen.

Love the light and shopping at Best Buy! The Geek Squad is the best.

Though the price is high but yet if the quality, durability and specifications are taken into consideration, it worths the price. The only negative which could be improved is USB-C cable port could have been placed on the stand instead of tower and also the charging power of that USB-C could be improved.

Perfect light adjustable physically or wirelessly from a far distance and you can adjust the brightness high to low and change the light from yellow to white and very simple to build , doesnt take up much room aswell but the base is heavy like 20-10 pnds tbh

Works wonderfully and looks amazing on my desk. Definitely expensive, but it's a nice splurge if you're looking for a great lamp

It is very practical luxury table lamp. Even I use it as for work, I use this as mood light with motion sensor during night. So convenient when I go to restroom in deep dark night.

Product is great but Dyson support/service is abysmal. For first 6 months the unit was trouble free and worked flawlessly. It still works presently but wobbles. They use a cheap plastic nut type fastener to hold the light onto the base. After 6 months of use the plastic nut has worn down such that even when fully tight (and I mean tight) it is still loose such that the light fixture wobbles. And it is getting worse. I contacted Dyson service & support and recording said call would be answered within 3 minutes. 45 minutes later a support person answered who was not very proficient in English and the line connection was very poor. After going though the script including a video link and photo of the problem the support person told me that I need to talk with an "expert" who would be able to help me and would transfer me to that group. I requested a phone number for that group in case the call dropped. Call did not drop but went back into the general call center with message that call would be answered within 3 minutes. I'm livid! Cheap plastic nut on a $650+ desk lamp and cheap technical support have resulted in me giving this product only a 1 star. The "former" Dyson score would have been 5 stars.

this item is costly but the dyson company does not make junk

This is a pretty cool desk lamp. It's easy to put together and it's easy to use. I like the warmth of the ambient light (when the light emits from the stem).I am pleased with the lamp. Wifi Connectivity and App are good to have. Light is pretty good.

I just got it today, April 14, 2023, and I am already having an issue with the $650 light! While I have been intrigued by its innovative design and impressed by its performance, I've unfortunately encountered a persistent issue that has hindered my overall experience with the product: it keeps turning off by itself, despite the sensor being disabled. This one is definitely going back to the store tomorrow. It's garbage!

Returning the unit. I like the desk lamp and its functionality and flexibility. Based on this price point, and having a less than year old V11 Torque Drive Cord-Free Vacuum that will not turn with no Warranty Support or Customer Service over several weeks, I cannot trust Dyson to stand behind their products. The base is solid; however, the rest of the lamp much weaker and the level of tec in the unit you need to know there is warranty support behind this product at this price point.
