It will be a good item to travel with. It takes less than 5 mins to dry my hair. And I will use to dry my clothes when I travel overseas if needed. I have compared to another dryer from Japan which can be used with 120 _220 v. I love Dyson better, to be fair the Dyson price is a lot more expensive than the Japanese brand.

I like that it’s not too loud. It’s really not all that compact, I regretted not buying the regular size instead since this one is kind of on the large size for a travel air dryer anyway, but oh well. It’s very cute and lightweight, and I appreciate that the filter is easy to clean. My main frustration with this product is that even at this price point and given that it’s sold as a travel device, it didn’t come with a pouch. I was able to find a random pouch for it on Amazon but it made the transport of it even bulkier. Searched on the Dyson page and didn’t find a specific case for it (which I would have preferred). But even coming with a simple travel pouch would have made the purchase experience better. I’m currently in Brazil and it works well here, flying from here to Spain and Portugal and will test it there too. Oh. And make sure to buy the proper plug adapters for the electrical load!! (Another item Dyson should consider selling for their travel air dryer, world plug adapters like Apple does).

I have used a few of Dyson hair styling tools and the Dyson Supersonic Travel Hair Dryer might be the least impressive of the ones I’ve used. Its compact size does pack a punch and produces excellent air flow, but I feel like the heat needs to be like 5 - 10 degrees (F) hotter to be more effective for those of us with thicker hair. I understand that travel hair dryers typically aren’t as good as full sized ones, but with this being a Dyson, I completely expected it to perform as if it was a full size hair dryer so it did leave me a bit underwhelmed. Out of all travel hair dryers that I have used before, this one is definitely the best but, it will not be replacing my regular hair dryer and will remain a travel option only for me. I did love the compact size of the hair dryer, especially for traveling purposes. The Styling Connector helped concentrate more heat to areas that I wanted to lay a certain way but, again, the hair dryer doesn’t produce high enough temperatures for my type of hair to truly style my hair beyond its natural, straight state. The noise level for this hair dryer is fairly minimal (for a hair dryer) and the hair dryer is very light weight. I didn’t love that the air intake for the hair dryer was at the bottom of the handle, which is where I typically hold hair dryers when I use them. I was worried about covering up too many of the vent holes because I didn’t know if it would decrease the air volume or overheat the hair dryer, so I tried to make sure I held the dryer at a higher point. After a couple of uses, I found that, with its small size, it was very comfortable to grip the dryer at the height of the neck which also made it easier to switch dryer settings. Overall, this is definitely an excellent TRAVEL hair dryer, but if you have thicker hair, or require more heat for drying and styling, this might not be the best option for replacing a full size hair dryer that produces more heat.

The Dyson-Supersonic Travel Hair Dryer, is cool because it comes with a magnetic piece that attaches to the blow dryer. I have never seen this type of technology before with hair dryers. Not that was convenient. Your able to download a app and enter your hair profile information, which then after the analysis provides you with videos your apply to watch to know how to style your hair. The tutorials were nice to see. I have wavvy curly hair so selected the curly hair option. The dryer itself pairs with the app if you want it to. You don't have too, not a requirement. There are two buttons on the dryer that allow you to adjust the settings from cool, to warm, and then to hot. The button on the left shows a fan indicated with a white icon and the button on the right is with a red icon, that is indicating an increase in the heat setting. Overall the fan does a good job with drying hair. I tend to straigthen my hair when using blow dryers, occassionally, I will use them to not completely dry my hair, but to help speed up the process if I am going for more of a natural look. To give you an idea, I am multi-racial, African American mixed with Native American. Thank you for allowing me to test this product. Pros: 1) Portable 2) Travel friendly 3) Easy to operate 4) Love the magnetic attachment Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

This hairdryer is your typical Dyson product far exceeding all expectations. My husband and I travel a lot, mostly on cruises. I have a hair dryer that comes everywhere with me and of course it’s heavy and bulky. This Dyson Supersonic hairdryer will be my new favorite travel item hands down! One of my favorite parts of using this hairdryer is how quickly it dries my hair. It comes with the style concentrator attachment which allows me to use it for a smooth style when paired with my round brush. I absolutely love how light and small this thing is. It has 3 different heat settings and 2 different speeds which is nice. Can we talk about the attachments?? My diffuser from my normal Dyson Supersonic connects to this travel version with zero issues. All attachments for the SuperSonic collection will work with this thing!! Thank you Dyson!! Two thumbs up for that!! One key feature I’d like to point out that Dyson advertised with this travel version is that it automatically adapts to the voltage of the outlet you are using. I can 100% attest to the fact this must work great because when I use my Dyson Air Straight flat iron, my lights will dim occasionally while using. I have zero issues, notice zero dimming when using this hairdryer. Overall, this thing is worth every penny. I love it and cannot wait to have this little thing with me on all my vacations.

OK, first of all, can we talk about this color combination? The Ceramic Pink and Rose Gold finish is absolutely stunning and sophisticated! It looks elegant but high-tech at the same time. Who knew those two could co-exist? I currently own two Dyson pet vacuum cleaners—one that has been running strong for 14 years and another battery-powered model that is 10 years old. Even after a battery replacement for the battery-powered one, both vacuums remain incredibly powerful and reliable. Needless to say, I have an exceptionally high level of confidence in the Dyson brand's reliability. The Supersonic Travel Hair Dryer itself is a total game-changer. It is small, lightweight, yet powerful. Having thin and brittle hair makes me naturally cautious when selecting styling tools. But this dryer is so gentle, and it provides the efficient performance I need to get ready quickly without causing any scary heat damage. It has easily become my daily driver at home. It's the perfect solution for anyone who prefers to avoid big, bulky appliances while still ensuring the job gets done effectively.

I have sang the praises of the Dyson line of hair dryers since the day I first day I got my hands on the original Supersonc (which I still have and continues to work like new) and have consistently declared that I would gladly pay full retail if the time ever came that I needed to replace it….after scoffing at the price when it was sent to me and just knowing I wouldn’t be impressed. So of course I didn’t hesitate on trying the Supersonic Travel version. For starters…while it is smaller and lighter than the full sized versions it’s not as small as I thought it might be. And it actually feels bigger than the Supersonic r version (although weight wise they are both the same). This isn’t really a negative or a positive. Just an observation. If you’re already a fan of Dyson’s hair dryers and see this as a more travel friendly carbon copy it’s not. Don’t get me wrong…it’s not a bad dryer but if you love how the Supersonic handles natural textured hair allowing you to get sleek smooth blowouts with less worry of frizz or humidity ruining your blowout the second you walk outside (which has always been one of my favorite things because it helps me not need to use any additional heat on my hair until my next wash day despite living and dealing with summer humidity in Georgia daily) then you may be a bit disappointed. It’s still better than a hotel dryer in most places and it will dry your hair just with less power and options for a premium price that may be better used towards a full sized Supersonic. It is nice that your other attachments will still work with this so you still have options to fit your needs. But for me…while I still like it and will travel with it as my just in case dryer it’s not one that I would feel compelled to replace if something were to happen to it.

Excellent Hair dryer in a cute color while also being a near perfect size for traveling

I recently saw that Dyson came out with a travel size version of their hair dryer and immediately bought for an upcoming trip. I bring my Dyson everywhere I go and it can be a hassle especially when traveling with just a carry on. This takes up a much smaller footprint and seems to work just as good as the original! It's a must have for traveling when you can't live without your Dyson!

I have a Dyson Hair Dryer at home that I love. It was always big to travel with though. As soon as this travel size came out, I knew I had to have it. I took it on my first trip after receiving it, and it was so easy to pack. It works just as fabulous as my at home dryer. Love it!

This is an awesome tool. Despite the reviews of some, it has power and does a great job lightweight ,small, perfect for travel and the bonus is it’s good for international travel. Definitely a must buy.

Very small and powerful for its size. Not as powerful as a normal as a full on hairdryer but does its job. It is travel friendly which is one the key features but they should have either included or made a travel case for this.

Have a supersonic hair dryer and love it. When I saw this one which is more compact and lighter, but more importantly, allows for multi-voltage (110 - 220V) use, had to purchase. This means I can use this anywhere in the world (I already accidentally fried an old hair dryer when taking it to Europe, since I thought all I needed was an adapter) and always come out perfect. Definitely recommend to someone with a Supersonic hair dryer that spends time on the road or in the air.

I am a Dyson fan and this travel hairdryer lives up to what I expect from Dyson. Plenty of power, and small enough to travel with.

Really light and compact- great for travel. The voltage is a huge advantage- so no need to worry about converters.

Works as well if not better then the full size one and cheaper. Let hope it last longer then the other one did (full size) only one year

Dyson Travel Hair Dryer takes the home version on the road with ease. All the advantages of the original in a smaller lighter package

The dryer itself is fantastic; far superior to any hair dryer you'll find in a hotel, even upscale hotels. From what I read, the attachments for my full-size Dyson should fit this travel version. They do NOT. This is disappointing.
