Nostalgic movie from my childhood. Purchased because am collecting “Real 4K” movies for my collection (non-upscaled 4K transfers). Have not watched yet.

I saw E.T in 1982 in a drive in movie theater It Was The Best Movie I Seen That Year Now In Excellent Picture and Sound In 4K Blu-Ray WOW! Even Better

E.T. was one of my favorite movies as a child...I remember going to see it in the movie theater with my mom and feeling like someone took my breath away when E.T. and Elliot went flying across the moon on the bicycle. What a magical moment for a child! Happily, this Blu-ray brought that magic back to life for us and we had just as much fun watching as adults as we did when I was a child. Everything about this movie is just perfect--it is a worthy addition to any movie collection and a must have for fans. It may not look as good as a newer movie, but I've had E.T. on both VHS and DVD--this is the best it's ever looked!

I love this movie always have and always will. It’s just a little reminder that we are not alone.

What needs to be said about this classic movie that hasn't already been said? This is a movie that stands the test of time because of how much love and care was put into making it. With a great cast, great direction, and a fantastic story, plus the score by John Williams that gives me goosebumps every time I hear it! The 4K release with HDR really brings the movie to another level as far as the colors and darkness of the various scenes. So if you've got a TV with these capabilities, get this movie. It's a fantastic release of one of my favorite movies!

Not sure how well this movie takes advantage of the format but it's a good one to add to the collection

some of it is dated... but 4k release is awesome... and dts-x sound really adds to the experience

I have a lot of memories of watching this movie on VHS as a child (including being absolutely horrified by the scenes where E.T. is sick, and yet I kept watching it anyway), and recently I had the joy of sharing the experience with my daughter. This is a great movie, full of heart and imagination, and it hasn't lost its luster over the years. The transfer here is wonderful and the sound great, making this blu ray the best way to see the movie since it was on a film reel in the theaters. Whether you're 50, 30, or 10, this one is worth coming back to, and this edition will be great in your collection.

My review is for the 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Includes the 4K Blu-ray, Standard Blu-ray, Digital Code, CD Soundtrack, Booklet and Collectible Lenticular Packaging. For under $20 this is the version to get. As to the movie it's a classic, the 4K version looks even better than I remembered it seeing it in the theater. Remember this is an older film so the its a little soft on the colors and doesn't pop as much as recently releases, but it's much better than prior releases.

A good movie that holds up pretty well to time. Transfer to Blu-Ray is done well.

Had never seen this movie, so bought it on a deal. It was ok. Not great, just ok.

I wanted to introduce our 7 & 5 year old to ET among all the other movies that are available to watch. They enjoyed the movie and the fantasy concept of an extra terrestrial coming to Earth. It was around Halloween when we watched it so it was a good tie in to the season of the year. I loved ET as a kid and I know my kids enjoyed the movie as well and will watch it again and again in the future. If you don't own it then go get a copy! You wont be disappointed :-)

Wow! Still do not know how they do this stuff technologically but I am glad they can and do! Movie is so old, (made in 1982!), but they remastered in 4K video and it looks awesome! This set includes 4K/HDR version, Blu-ray, and digital copy. 4K audio is fantastic DTS-X "immersive". Blu-ray is DTS-HD Master 7.1. Again, I didn't know this audio existed in 1982 so it is beyond me how it is done. A must have for your collection! Many bonus features included. Great family flick!

As the movie is an all-time heartfelt classic, the movie has gotten its well-deserved platinum edition release, especially for a 4K release. For the 4K Blu-ray to include the soundtrack is something in life that has been well accomplished. Just like Steven Spielberg said, the 50 percent of greatness from Jaws is the score by John Williams. It depends on how you view the film, but it is a must own for any physical media collector to have in their collection.

I really don't know what to say aside from: If you have seen this movie before you know what to expect, if you haven't seen it yet then you need to do so ASAP. All the praise, recognition, and legendary status is warranted and it a fantastic heartwarming experience all the way through. The blu-ray version is excellent, much better than the old DVD copy I had. Highly recommend for those who love the movie and haven't seen it yet. (It is a steal for the asking price, and is wonderful wonderful for children)

It’s a great family movie. Not to flashy but still entertaining.

These old classics have become my favorite 4K movie buys because you get the old classic with upgraded audio and video and unlike the new movies it comes in full screen. The black bars really bug me. Also, the prism on the box is cool and the booklet about all things E.T. that comes inside is a nice little bonus. I highly recommend making this one part of your home library.

Beautifully remastered in 4k + a book & music cd worth the upgrade

I bought this ET DVD and my family love this classic movie.

I finally decided to pick this movie up after all these years. I have seen it many times from in the theater to on TV. Now it's tougher to catch in tv, and not streaming on anything I have. The 4k disc is as good as can be with old film transfer, and the darks are good with HDR color. I wish more films included Dolby Vision to get the most punch out of the colors, but I can't complain. I am happy with this purchase
