E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial still does its awesome magic in 4K.

Excited to watch this classic in UHD and HDR at long last.

This a great Blu-Ray Release to movie Collector's who are looking for Digibooks and or Steelbooks since I own both it makes me happy to know this was taken such good care of in the transfer area the picture is sharp crisp such good detail the lighting is great the music sounds like it was written for today. The extras are good not great but nothing to worry about. Overall Your not going to be disappointed with this Digibook I highly recommend it for everyone but especially to movie Collector's.

Classic movie. Packaging includes 4k and blu-ray versions, as well as a booklet with behind the scenes photos and information. This is the original theatrical release of ET without any digital alterations. Watched the Blu-ray Disc and had no issues - picture looked good. Shipping was very fast, and arrived on time. Highly recommend.

This is a great all time classic movie for collection

Saw this at the drive in when it first came out. Many, many years ago, lol. Loved it then, still feel the same now. Picked this up on Blu Ray when it first came out, got a free bag or Reese's Pieces also, cant beat that promotion. 4k is super clear, the soundtrack is pretty impressive also. My son watched it for the first time and fell in love with it. Must see family movie.

E. T. was one film from my childhood that evoked a mix of emotions from me. Decades past and it got buried at the back of my mind. I found it on the racks for a great low price, and couldn't pass up the opportunity to own it on blu ray. I love the picture quality and the extra features that came along with it. It doesn't hurt that it came with some Reese's candies upon check out. Nostalgia indeed!

Still a great movie after 30 plus years many emotionall ups and downs. Great kids movie. 4K looks good but not too awesome. Just looks cleaned up. Alll children should see this movie at least once.

Had to get this for my kids to watch. It doesn't say it's been remastered, so I'm not sure how the 4k is really being done. Maybe it's just all the upscaling that DVD players and TVs do these days. I'd be fine with the 'old' version, but can't complain on picture quality.

Movies back in the early 80s were the greatest. Between Lucas and Spielberg, they accounted for quite a bit of that magic. E.T. is no exception. I saw it in the theater in its initial run and it instantly became a favorite. Finally finding it by chance on BR/DVD/Digital was an unexpected pleasure.

Glad this beloved film has received careful mastering in both Blu-ray and UHD versions. The recently viewed 70mm print I saw in Seattle was not in good shape, sadly. I hope a new print may be struck someday to do justice to this wonderful movie, but in the meanwhile, the home video version will have to suffice. A great bargain, too, at the low discounted price.

E.T. is a sweet comedy and melodramatic science fiction movie. It is Steven Spielberg's most personal film, and one that is most personal to many childhoods. It's 1980's nostalgia at its best. In 1983 it won several Oscars for Best Original Score, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, Best Visual Effects. Overall, it's a "kid empowerment flick". E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial is an enduring movie classic.

I`m not sure how much was featured on the supplements in previous editions but this version is ripe with extras detailing treasures from various cast members and crew as to the nature of this timeless classic. As a film enthusiast, the special features are something to appreciate and more importantly a learning tool on the craft of filmmaking. Bring on more Spielberg in 4k I say.

5 stars for the movie alone. I felt that even though this is an older movie and less likely to convert well to 4K, the remastering was done very well and I was actually surprised at the 4K quality of this remaster. If you already own this in Blu-ray, probably safe to stick with it, but if this is your first time purchasing this movie, 4K wont disappoint.

The 4K version of ET being back many memories when I first saw the movie come. There is no comparison to the 4K version and the extras in the blu ray part are really well done and it bring back the history of the movie. Great purchase in my opinion and well worth spending the money.

A childhood classic if you grew up in the 80’s! The movie gets a nice upgrade in 4K. The image is crisp, the colors are vivid, and dark scenes are easy to view as opposed to earlier versions released of the movie. It’s a good family movie with silliness and emotional weight rolled into one. If you’re going to buy E.T., this format is the way to go.
