showing its age. still a classic. bought it for when my grandson is old enough to appreciate it.

This was one of my favorite movies growing up. I used to watch it all the time. Watching it again as an adult and it still makes me cry. Elliot and ET’s connection is so sweet and adorable. I love this movie so much.

Purchasee this iconic movie for my class for movie night. At first they didn't want to watch it but they enjoyed the movie eventually. Love this movie and I'm glad to have this to my movie collection.

I remember watching this movie on DVD. Recently purchased for 4K player and has more detail. If you liked watching ET on VHS or DVD -then you would like this if you have a 4K player. This movie doesn't get old :)

This was a great family movie with a several now big stars as children then. Highly recommend that you see this movie. I was a kid when this movie first came out, but just saw it for the first time.

A classic from everyone's childhood, the movie is great on a big screen TV

This is the first thing I want to say about the 2012 Blu-ray Release of "E.T., the Extraterrestrial:" it's back, in its original form. Yes, every frame, the terrorist gag, guns back where they need to be, the musical score in the farewell scene restored to its original grandeur, and no digital shilly-shallying. What a delight! Big thanks to Mr. Spielberg for finally recognizing the deliciously imperfect perfection of his original creation. I've seen this film approaching 70 times, and I know where the beats are, top to bottom. I was looking for changes, and could detect not a one. Even the slight jump-cut as ET indicates the closet as "home" is restored. The original ILM animation of the bikes in flight is back. The string passage during the final embrace is right where it should always have been. All the terrible tampers have been removed. The transfer, from original 35mm elements, is as flawless as can be. The look and feel of the theatre experience fills the eye and the ear and, as always, the heart. Welcome "home," E.T., and thanks, Universal, for a job well undone.

ET The Extraterrestrial is a family classic worth seeing again and again. Now in brilliant 4K Ultra HD the experience is even better. Gather the family up, pull out the popcorn and enjoy the movie.

I absolutely adore this movie. It has the undeniable Spielberg magic, movies really don't get much better than this, and now that its in 4k, it most certainly can't! I highly recommend it!

A family must have! A timeless classic that will bring right back to those early 80's, suburban life good times. I appreciate it more now as an adult vs being a kid. Highly recommend!

A must purchase if you own a 4K TV. This looked and sounded amazing. Well worth the upgrade from my bluray. One of Steven Spielberg's best films. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

You probably have this in your collection already, if you don’t it’s a must have. Worth upgrading your DVD? Maybe, only because starting with Blu-ray the cases are smaller.

Watching this on 4K with a home theater system on a large tv is just awesome. Seeing it, hearing it and feeling it. Yes feeling. Just awesome if you have a nice home theatre.

This 4K movies is a timeless classic. The movie is great but there is a little grain based on the up conversion but don’t let that stop you from adding this to your collection.

This was on sale for an unbelievable price at my local store and I couldn’t help but buy a copy for myself and my parents. So glad to have added this to my collection

I saw this in the theater like 20 times... I'm currently trying to relive my childhood, since I'm getting old and forgetful, so this had to come home with me.

This movie makes me cry every time I watch it, the video quality is amazing, AND it comes with a CD copy of John Williams's amazing score. Well worth a purchase

I loved this movie as a child. I was excited to share it with my children. I was not disappointed. The had fun with ET and Elliott and their journey to get ET home.
