I originally wanted the new samsung earbuds as a gift, but they were out, so i got these at 50% off, they work fine, maybe just a little tinny for my taste.

They are lightweight, soft inside your ears and perfect for use in the gym. I'm not sure about running on a treadmill but they haven't been close to falling out while in use. Paired with my Ipod Nano very easy and charges in the capsule in a decent amount of time. They do lose signal every once and awhile but not often. No mic for phone calls but I only use them for music. Can't wait for the second gen if there is one

I wish I could give a negative star. Of course I misplaced the charging capsule like I go my charger for my phone. The earbuds were paired with the app, so I still had all of the information such as serial numbers and such. I contacted Earin via their website and the app MULTIPLE TIMES. There is no customer service phone number (I see why), and the only correspondence that can be made was through email. No one ever returned my emails. I eventually bought a new phone, downloaded the Earin app again, logged in and all the information was gone. So now I am stuck with expensive barely used earbuds that are unable to be charged and a company who does not return any emails.

This tech is fairly new so not yet perfected. The earbuds would be OK to listen to mono voice calls but stereo music was just not great. They would also not fit snug in my ears no matter which piece I used and would fall out. Hopefully they will improve on the tech.

I read a review of these earbuds and decided to try them. I like them without tangling and distracting wires. The charging system is also unique and doubles as a case.

For gadget lovers

I am a huge gadget person and have been following this company for a long time. I was hesitant to buy them based on other reviews due to drop out issues, but so far mine have been working perfectly. Only noticed the right side drop for a second, once or twice. Just came back from running with them and they performed flawlessly. Definitely use the foam tips for a secure fit along with the stabilizer wings. Just paired them with the app and now can monitor battery usage as well as give them an extra bass boost which is outstanding. And I have Bose noise-cancelling earbuds as well, the Earins are pretty close to sound quality. I also bought the Geek Squad 2-yr replacement just in case if I have any issues, but I am very pleased so far. Just buy them if your thinking about it.

On my 2nd pair

I am now on my second pair. (first pair)Within the first week I noticed that the right earbud cuts out from time to time. Then days later it became more frequent. Problem: The transmitter/receiver power was sacrificed to give the earbuds reasonable battery life. a few more days later I noticed the left earbud getting REALLY hot exceeding 105 F. This is what I am going to attribute to the next problem, the battery life in the left earbud started falling dramatically. I "screen shotted" my phone every few min with the earin app running to send to earin as proof of the failing unit. after a short while (after starting earbuds at 100%) the left went down to 10% while right was near 75%. I sent Earin an email to make them aware of the problems and they seemed to completely disregard it and just told me to go back to where I got them. This really upset me because they didn't even ask when I bought the unit or proof I had of the failing buds. What if I was past the return policy?? so Earin didn't seem like they wanted to stand behind their product, this makes me nervous as these are $300 !! so hopefully I don't run into the same problems let alone past the return policy. Good luck to other early adopters!! "ye have been warned" cant recommend this product..YET... oh btw, when it works the sound is great!! also perfect for weightlifting and SHOOTING at the range. these blocked out near the same Decibels as my other plugs
