I went to this amazing tour and Neil, Lukas Nelson (yes, he's Willie's son) and the Promise of the Real guitar jammed one awesome song after another, jumping around all over the stage and visibly having a great time. Since this live CD is a record of that tour, I bought it the day it was released and have been listening to it non-stop ever since! Well, not exactly non-stop, since I have to work, eat and sleep every so often. Anyhoo, buy this CD and start going to Neil Young concerts and start celebrating life on this planet!! ..Touring recently with his latest band of top-notch musicians, including 2 of Willie Nelson’s sons, this blazing double-cd set shows that Neil has lost none of his famed energy or guitar chops; mixing it up with old songs & new, Earth finds Neil once again at the top of his game, even as he’s now in his 70s! Amazing--essential for any serious NY Fan!

This live album, his 16th if you count the entries from his Archive series, was recorded in 2015 during the Rebel Content Tour with his band the Promise of the Real. It's a strange collection pf Young songs that includes sounds of nature and animal noises in the mix. As expected, always expect the unexpected from Neil Young.

Every release he has is genius. This is a live cd with a great set list, Western Hero among my favorites. Its 96 minutes, 4 or 5 songs from the Monsanto Years cd. The backing band on that album is his touring band here. Ambient sounds of nature and wildlife are put in the mix as are overdubbed female voals, which doesnt really make this a true live cd

Live recordings with Promise Of The Real backing Neil, which have been enhanced in the studio (both musically and with animal noise links). If you're into Neil, you will take it as more of his eclecticism. If you're new to him, may not be the best place to start. (Try "Psyhedelic Pill if you're a newbie).

I'm a hard core Neil Young fan going back 40 years so I obviously like his music. I'm not sure this would be a must have for someone if they are not that big of a fan. The songs were fun to listen to just to see what they did with them, so for that it was a worthwhile purchase to me.

A wonderful collection of live recordings by Neil Young and Promise of the Real mixed with ambient nature sounds. Really drives home the power of Neil's lyrics.

A recent live show. Neil's got some new P.O. songs. Good raw Neil. And a zoo. When you listen you'll understand that statement.

This is a live recording. It sounds like it was recorded outside. And don't mean the animal sounds throughout the concert. It's like a concert how you'd hear it at the show.

Neil Young is great. This CD has earth sounds that bring my dogs to the speakers.
